Product Operation
To Use the Cooling Function
-
When using the air conditioner for the first time, open the drain inlet cover (8), and use the drain hose and funnel to add water into the water tank. You may also use a gallon pitcher to slowly fill the tank (water tank capacity is 7.3 gallons). Note: Use low water pressure when filling the tank, as excessive pressure will cause water to overflow. Please check the water level (9), when water reaches the maximum level (MAX), stop filling the tank and close the drain inlet cover (8). Excess water will be discharged from the drain outlet (10). Connect the drain hose to t h e drain outlet cover (10) to empty the water tank. Do not move the air conditioner while filling with water. After filling the water tank, plug the air conditioner into a wall outlet.
-
This unit is a pre-water-cooling portable air conditioner. After plugging the unit in, to achieve proper operating conditions (wait for the water in the water tank frozen) about 8-10 hours before you can use A/C function. If you prefer to use A/C function before the cold storage process completed, the cooling effect is not as good as after the cold storage process completed. And it needs longer time for the unit storage cold if you are in A/C model.
-
After 8-10 hours of continuous running under the A/C mode, the cooling performance begins to decrease. Power off the unit (ATTENTION: PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG THE POWER CORD) or switch the cooling mode to other modes. The unit will require the cold storage cycle for another 8-10 hours as you initially allowed to operate again at full capacity. This cycle will need to be repeated each time the cooling benefits decrease.
