  • Do not place any cup or other object on the water collector grill when the product is not in use.
    The cup could fall and cause damage or injury.

  • Do not use the water collector grill for any purpose other than water collection.

  • To move the product, do not pull the power cord or connection hose or hold the ice spout.
    This may result in product damage.

  • Do not leave the product in subzero conditions.
    This may result in malfunction or product failure.

  • Do not remove the hose from the back of the product during use.
    This may result in product failure due to water leakage.

  • If the product is not in use for a long period, close the source water supply valve and unplug the power cord.

  • Do not use the product in a manner not described in the user manual.

  • Install the product at least 2m away from electronic products, such as induction heating (IH) microwave ovens and electric pressure cookers.

Installation

  • Where to Install
    Install the product on a solid and even surface at least 10 cm away from the wall.

  • After Installation
    When newly installed or relocated, connect the power only after 30 minutes have elapsed.

  • Drain Hose Connection

    • When connecting the drain hose, ensure that the hose is not bent or stacked under a heavy object. When the hose is clogged, water will not flow smoothly which may result in potential malfunction.
    • Ensure that the drain hose is fixed tight to prevent splashing. Water from the drain hose can be used for chores such as toilet cleaning, general cleaning and laundry to prevent wastage of water. However, NEVER drink or use the water for consumption.
    • Do not raise the drain hose higher than the installation surface or connect it more than 20 meters away from the product. Should the drain hose inevitably have to be connected to a floor drainage such as in a kitchen, ensure that the hose is not raised more than 4 meters from the floor.

    Each time the [ Hot ] button is pressed, the temperature will change in the following order : Hot  Tea   Infant.

    Each time the [ Volume ] button is pressed, the volume settings will change in the following order : 120ml 250ml   500ml   1,000ml.

How To Use

Usage Cautions

CAUTION

  • Close the lid of the ice room after cleaning.
    If the lid of the ice room is not properly closed, insects such as ants may enter the ice room.

  • If the touch button does not function when touched, try using your thumb to widen the contact area of the button.

  • When dispensing ice, refrain from using a glass cup or dispensing ice with beverage or hot water contained within.

    • The glass cup may break due to sudden temperature change or impact.
    • When water splashes into the outlet, contamination and mold may be caused.
    • When ice is dispensed into a cup filled with hot water, there is a risk of burn from splash.
  • When liquid splashes on the ice outlet, clean both the interior and exterior of the outlet immediately and also clean the outlet regularly once a week.

  • Clean the ice dispense guide once a week.

  • If ice has not been dispensed for a long time, ice may stick to each other and ice may not be dispensed smoothly. In this case, press the [Ice Dispense] Button 3 or 4 times for 3- 4 seconds each time.

Operation Method

Selecting water volume
Press the [Volume] button and select the desired water volume.

  • Each time the [Volume] button is pressed, the volume will change in the following order : 120ml 500ml 1,000ml.
  • The default volume is automatically set to 120ml if no manual selection is made for a certain period of time.

Selecting water temperature
Select the desired water temperature.

  • If the indicator light is switched on for the desired temperature, you do not need to press the button.
  • The color of the indicator light changes according to the water temperature selected.
    • Cold : Blue
    • Ambient : Green
    • Hot : Red
  • Each time the [Hot] button is pressed, the temperature will change in the following order : [Hot] [Tea] [Infant].
  • The default temperature is automatically set to Cold or Ambient if no manual selection is made for a certain period of time after selecting [Hot].
    It automatically changes to Cold or Ambient depending on the last temperature used.

Dispensing water
Press the [Water Dispense] button.

  • Water automatically stops dispensing once the selected volume of water has been dispensed.
  • The [Water Dispense] indicator light blinks according to the selected water temperature and stops dispensing when pressing the [Water Dispense] button again.

Dispensing ice
Press the [Ice Dispense] button.

  • Ice is dispensed when [Ice Dispense] button is pressed and the [Ice Dispense] button indicator light blinks.
  • It may take some time for ice to be dispensed when ice storage is low in the ice room.

Additional Functions

UV Care

  • How to activate the Manual UV Care function.
  • Press the [UV Care] button once to activate manual UV Care when the [UV Care] button indicator light is OFF.
  • The indicator light is ON when automatic or manual UV Care is in progress.
  • The indicator light is OFF when automatic or manual UV Care is on standby.

Mute function

  • Press and hold the [Volume] button for 5 seconds.
  • The Mute function turns ON/OFF together with a beep sound.

Adjusting brightness of water/Ice Dispense Button
Press and hold the [Ambient] button for 5 seconds.

  • The [Ambient] button indicator light blinks with a beep sound.
  • Each time the [Water Dispense] button is pressed, the brightness will change in the following order : Off High Low.
  • Upon completing the brightness adjustment, wait for 7 seconds or press the [Ambient] button to complete the setting with a beep sound.
  • When pressing the [Water Dispense] button after button brightness has been set to OFF, the [Water Dispense] indicator light will blink in the colour of the temperature selected during dispense and switch back OFF 5 seconds after water has been dispensed.
  • When pressing the [Ice Dispense] button after button brightness has been set to OFF, the [Ice Dispense] indicator light will blink during dispense and switch back OFF
    5 seconds after water has been dispensed.

Setting infant water temperature
Press and hold the [Hot] button for 5 seconds.

  • The [Infant] indicator light blinks with a beep sound.
  • Each time the [Water Dispense] button is pressed, the brightness of the [Water Dispense] button will change in the following order : Low Moderate High.(High: 55˚C, Moderate: 50˚C, Low: 45˚C)
  • Upon completing the infant water temperature control setting, wait for 7 seconds or press the [Hot] button to complete the setting with a beep sound.
  • The default infant water temperature setting is 50°C.

Lock Function On/Off : Cold, Hot, Ice
Press and hold the [Lock] button for 5 seconds.

  • The indicator lights of the functions that can be locked (Cold/Hot/Ice) starts blinking with a beep sound and indicator lights of the functions that are already locked switches OFF.
  • Press the button of the function you want to lock and the indicator light of the function will switch OFF.
  • If you press the button of a function that is in a locked state, the indicator light will start blinking.
  • Wait for 7 seconds or press the [Lock] button once to complete the lock setting with a beep sound.
  • The [Lock] button indicator light will switch ON when any one of the functions (Cold/Hot/Ice) are locked.

Filter Replacement

CAUTION

  • Replace the filter according to the recommended replacement cycle.
    The purification volume and effect may be reduced when filter is not replaced promptly.

  • Ensure that the power plug is unplugged when replacing the filter.
    There is a risk of electric shock if you touch the power plug with wet hands.

  1. Close the water supply valve and select Cold or Ambient water. Press the [Water Dispense] button and completely drain the water inside the filtration unit.
  2. Unplug the power cord.
  3. Remove the top cover as shown in the picture.
  4. After removing the fittings from the filter to be replaced, replace the new filters. (use a proper tool for the separation)
  5. Assemble the filters, fittings and filter cover in the reversed order.
  6. Open the water supply valve and check the filter connectors for leaks.
  7. Insert the power cord.

  • Our service agent will get in touch with you to during the month your filter replacement is due.
  • Filter Replacement Period
  • The filter replacement period is defined as the period in which the filter can perform at its maximum performance and capacity.
  • Filter replacement period may be shortened if the water quality in the location installed is poor or if the usage is excessive.

  • Ensure that each filters are cleaned upon product installation or filter replacement.
  • Flush the filters for approx. 10 minutes (based on a water flow of 20L at approx. 1 kg/cm2). Bubbles or dark water may come out due to the nature of the filters. However, please note that this only occurs during the initial flushing and does not affect the purification performance of the filters.

NOTE

Purified water comes out white
This is a state that may temporarily occur for tankless type water purifiers when micro bubbles are formed when water is dispensed. The micro bubbles will naturally disappear and has no effect on the water quality. White minerals may form when purified water from the water purifier is boiled. These deposits are mineral components and not contaminants.

Cleaning Method

Before Cleaning

  1. Close the source water supply valve connected to the water supply pipe of the sink or the ball valve on the back of the product.
  2. To clean the ice room, remove all the ice by pressing and holding the [Ice Dispense] button.
  3. Unplug the power cord.

Product Exterior and Outlet

  1. Use a cleaning agent made exclusively for plastic products, or use a wet cloth, to clean the exterior.
    CAUTION Do not clean the product with thinners, benzene, or alcohol.

  2. After wiping the water outlet with a wet cloth, remove moisture with a dry cloth.

Drip Tray

  1. Remove the drip tray by hand.
    Be cautious of water that is collected in the drip tray.

  2. Remove the grill from the drip tray and clean with running water or a soft brush.
    Drip tray may be damaged when cleaned with a sharp object.

  3. Dry the drip tray in a cool shaded place and reassemble the drip tray.

Ice Outlet

  1. Pull out the ice outlet guide according to the direction of the arrow as shown in the image.
  2. Wash the separated ice outlet guide with running water until there are no foreign substances left.
  3. Remove the ice outlet cover in the order shown in the figure.
  4. Wipe the ice outlet part of the product with a clean dry cloth. Wipe it all the way to the inside.
  5. Assemble all the parts in the reversed order.

Ice Room

  1. Remove the top case by pushing it in the direction of the arrow as shown in the image.
  2. Remove the ice room cover by lifting the marked part in the direction of the arrow with a screwdriver or a long tool such as chopsticks.
  3. Remove the ice tray by lifting the marked part upwards.
  4. Hold the ice transfer screw by hand and pull it up to remove it.

Cooling Fan and Radiator Grill

  1. Remove the dust filter for the cooling fan at the rear of the product by pulling the handle upwards.

  2. Clean the front and back of the dust filter thoroughly under running water.
    Dry the dust filter before reassembly.

  3. Remove the radiator grill as shown in the image before cleaning the cooling fan.
    Insert a flathead screwdriver in the marked position and press it downwards to remove the radiator grill.

  4. Clean the cooling fan blades and radiator grill with a wet tissue or cloth.

  5. After cleaning is completed, insert the radiator grill from the button and press to reassemble.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter a problem with the appliance, first check the table below and try the suggestions. If the problem persists, please contact the Customer Service Center.

Problem Action
Cold water doesn’t come out. (The product is not malfunctioning) Cold

water function is switched OFF
If the cold water indicator light is switched ON, press and hold the [ Lock ] button for 5 seconds to check whether the cold water function has been switched OFF.

  • Low power supply
    Ensure that the power supply is AC220-240V.

  • Water is dispensed excessively
    If large amount of water is dispensed continuously, the cold water temperature will increase. Please try again after a while.

Cold water doesn’t come out. (The product is malfunctioning)| The cooling unit is malfunctioning

If power is being supplied normally and water dispensed is still not cold enough after 2 hours, please contact the Customer Service Center.

I hear abnormal noises from the product.| There is a mechanical operation or temperature change

  • The “ wing ” sound occurs when the cooling fan is operating. This is not a malfunction and should the noise be too loud, please contact the Customer Service Center.
  • The “ tick ” sound occurs when the water valve is operating. This is not a malfunction.
  • The water purifier consists of a compressor that produces a noise similar as of a refrigerator.
  • The sound of water flowing in the product may occur. The sound is produced from the coolant circulating in the heat exchange tank. This is not a malfunction and should the noise be too loud, please contact the Customer Service Center.

I hear loud noises from the product.|

  • Check the distance to the wall
    Ensure that the product is installed at least 10 cm from the wall.

  • The radiator grill is clogged with dust
    Clean the radiator grill according to the cleaning method advised.

I hear loud noises from the product. (Water running and cracking sound)|

  • Ice water supply and circulation sound
    This is a normal sound that occurs when water is supplied for ice making and when water is circulating for freezing.

  • Ice dispense sound
    This is a normal sound that occurs when produced ice is dropped and stored in the ice room.

I hear loud noises from the product. (Air leaking sound)| Ice dispense sound
This is a normal sound that occurs when the refrigerant circulates to drop the produced ice to the ice room.
Water does not dispense.|

  • Check whether the water supply valve or the middle valve (blue handle) on the rear of the product is closed. If it is closed, open the mentioned valve
  • The filter’s life span is complete
    • Check the filter replacement cycle and contact the Customer Service Center.
    • If the water does not come out even after replacing the filter, close the water supply valve, remove the power cord and contact the Customer Service Center.
  • The tap water has been cut
    • Lock the water supply valve and remove the power cord.
    • Open the water supply valve and insert in the power plug when the tap water starts to run.
  • The connection hose is severely bent
    Check if there are any bent sections in the connection hose.

Cold/Ambient indicator light blinks sequentially.| It is not in normal operation mode
Press the [ Water Dispense ] button once to revert to normal mode.
The water is running slower.

(The product is not malfunctioning)

|

  • The kitchen faucet and other water taps are being used simultaneously
    The waterflow may be reduced when the product is being used simultaneously. Try dispensing water with the kitchen faucet closed.

  • The filter’s life span is complete

    • Check the filter replacement cycle and contact the Customer Service Center.
    • If the waterflow is low even after replacing the filter, contact the Customer Service Center.
  • The instant hot water is under operation

    • Cold water is instantly heated hence waterflow may be slower than cold and ambient water.
    • Waterflow may be slow when installed in areas with low water pressure.

Ice does not dispense. (The product is not malfunctioning)|

  • Excessive usage of ice
    There may be no ice left in the ice room due to excessive usage of ice.

  • Ice making function is switched OFF
    If the lock indicator light is ON, press and hold the [ Lock ] button for 5 seconds to check whether the ice function is switched OFF. If it is OFF, switch ON the ice function and wait for the ice to be produced.

  • Water cut or water supply/middle supply valves are closed

    • The water supplied for ice production may be cut off.
    • Check if the water supply valve is closed.
    • Check if the middle valve (blue handle ) at the rear of the product is closed.
  • The radiator grill is clogged with dust
    Clean the radiator grill according to the cleaning method advised.

Water is leaking from the product.|

  • There is a defect in an assembled (connected) area
    If a “ Ding Ding Ding ” alarm sound is heard each time the button is pressed, close the water supply valve or the middle valve (blue handle) at the rear of the product and contact the Customer Service Center.

Water tastes and smells unpleasant.|

  • The product has not been used for a long period of time
    • Short term (within 10 days) : dispose 1 liter of Cold, Ambient and Hot water each continuously before use
    • Long term (more than 10 days) : Please contact the Customer Service Center if necessary.
  • The product has been installed in an appropriate location and has not been used for a long period of time
    Replace all filters before using the product. (Refer to Filter Replacement section)

Microparticles are in the purified water.|

  • Micro bubbles are produced when dispensing water
    If microparticles are found in the water even after 5 minutes have passed from the time water is dispensed into the cup, shake the cup left and right 5 to 6 times to check again for microparticles. If microparticles are still visible, contact the Customer Service Center to replace the filters.

If steam is sprayed while using hot water.|

  • The voltage is too high (The product is not malfunctioning)
    • If the voltage is higher than the standard supply power of AC220-240V, hot water usage may not be suitable.
    • If steam is continuously produced, contact the Customer Service Center.

If there is a water cut while using hot water.|

  • Bubbles are produced in the instant hot water (The product is not malfunctioning)
    Bubbles may be produced as the water is instantly heated, potentially causing water breaks.

Water is warm when using hot water.| If the instant heating module is not malfunctioning

  • If the [ Water Dispense ] button blinks in red and a “ Ring ” sound continuously occurs, the instant heating module is under initialization.
  • The temperature of the hot water dispensed may vary according to the type of cup used to receive water.
  • If the waterflow increases suddenly due to water pressure fluctuations, the hot water temperature dispensed may be low.

NOTE
If the none of the above applies, the instant heating module is malfunctioning. Please contact the Customer Service Center to enquire for a part replacement.

Hot water doesn’t come out.| How water is locked (The product is not malfunctioning)
If the [ Lock ] button indicator is ON, press and hold the [ Lock ] button for 5 seconds to check whether the hot water function is switched OFF. If hot water does not dispense even after unlocking, please contact the Customer Service Center. NOTE
If the none of the above applies, the instant heating module is malfunctioning. Please contact the Customer Service Center to enquire for a part replacement.
