Safety

Only use the accessories

• with a kitchen machine from the same series MUMS6, and MUM9. ¡ with genuine parts and accessories.
• for cutting up, chopping, mixing, puréeing, and emulsifying liquid or semi-solid food.
• For grinding and chopping small quantities of spices, cereals, coffee or sugar. Spices include, for example, pepper, cumin, juniper, cinnamon, dried aniseed or saffron. Cereals include, for example, wheat, millet, and linseed.
• Only install, remove or clean the blade insert using the blade guard.
• Never assemble the accessories on the main unit.
• Only attach and remove accessories once the drive has stopped and the appliance has been unplugged.
• The accessories should only be used in the intended operating position.
• Be careful when processing hot food.
• Do not process food that is hotter than 60 °C in the To-Go blender jug or glass container

Avoiding material damage

• Do not process food that contains hard components, e.g. bones, gristles or stones.
• Do not process any frozen food in the glass container.
• Do not expose the glass container to extreme temperature fluctuations.
• If storing in the refrigerator, remove the blade holder together with the blade insert and place the lid on the container.

• A Grinding: Grinding and chopping up small quantities of spices, grains, coffee or sugar
• B Chopping: Chopping and dicing meat, hard cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, fruit, vegetables, nuts, almonds or chocolate.
• C Mixing: Mixing liquid and semi-solid food, cutting and mincing raw fruit and vegetables as well as frozen fruit and pureeing food, with the addition of suitable cold or warm liquids, e.g. milk or water

Tip: When processing food such as carrots, plastic parts may become discolored. Remove discoloration with a soft cloth and a few drops of cooking oil.

Recommendations and restrictions on processing:

• The blender cannot be used to make mayonnaise.
• Use enough liquid when mixing solid food.
• Mix powdered food with sufficient liquid before blending, or dissolve it entirely in liquid. Examples of powdered food include icing sugar, cocoa powder, roasted soybeans, flour, and protein powder.
