The usage of battery
(1) Dry Battery Model: Open the battery cover on the lower side of the upper body cover of the intelligent trash can, install two AA batteries according to the positive and negative signs of the battery, and cover the lid. (2) Charging Battery Model: Please install the special lithium battery in the correct way as shown in the figure. Please align the metal sheet of the battery with the metal shrapnel in the battery compartment and cover the lid.
Install 2 AA dry batteries(not included)
Please do not invert the positive and negative poles of the battery
Installation of garbage bags
- Pick up the smart trash can sensing cover and remove the pressure ring from the trash can.
- Place the garbage bag into the pressure ring, then gently rotate the excess part of the garbage bag into the pressure ring hole.
- Place the garbage bag and pressure ring into the bracket inside the smart trash can.
On / off operation
After the intelligent garbage can is loaded with a 2 AA battery, it will be
turned off power by default. In the power off state, gently press the left
“power” The green LED indicator flashes, and then the can is on. If the lid
opens 6 seconds later it will automatically close and enter the standby mode.
Press the “power ” on the left side for 3 seconds in the power state the red
LED indicator flashes, and the smart trash can is shut down.
Sensor switch
In the power-on state, when the waste needs to be thrown into the smart trash can, just put your hand in the sensing area (the sensing area is within 30cm vertically upward of the LED panel) to sense.
If there are objects blocking, the green light flashes once, and the lid of
the garbage can be opened upward. When the hand leaves the sensing area it
will be automatically closed after 5 seconds.
If the hand is always in the sensing area, the garbage can cover will not.
Touch to open the lid
Kick any part of the barrel with your feet, the lid will open automatically and close automatically after 6 seconds (only for the version with the kick function).
The function of keeping the lid open
In the power-on state, touch the “smart ” on the right once, the green light will flash once, and the cover of the smart trash can be opened upward and kept in the normally open state. At this time, it will not be closed automatically. You need to touch the”smart” on the right again to close. But if you don’t touch “smart” for 2-3 minutes, the lid will also automatically close, in order to save power.
Battery life
If the lid is opened 20 times a day, 2 AA batteries can be used for about 3 months, and a normal household can be used for 3-5 months.
Matters needing attention
- The lid of this product is equipped with electronic components. Do not wash it with water but wipe the internal and external surfaces with a wet cloth.
- Don’t use external force to press on the end of the lid, otherwise, the transmission parts will be damaged.
- Don’t stick other matters on the sensing window and touch the switch. otherwise, it will affect the use.
- When wiping the sensor window, only use soft flannelette to avoid scratching the sensor window.
- When the lid is not opened or closed in place or the lid does not react, it means that the battery is about to run out. The battery should be replaced in time to prevent the battery from leaking and damaging the device, and meanwhile, you should avoid mixing the old and new batteries.
