HOW TO USE GUIDE
BEFORE THE FIRST USE:
- When using it for the first time, wipe the surface of the plates with a damp cloth and dry. Then smear the plates with butter, cooking spray, or any other cooking fat.
- Plug in the appliance to the power outlet.
- Prepare your waffle mix
- Press the power button, and the LCD will brighten.
- Press the menu button to select the function (BELGIAN, CLASSIC, CHOCOLATE, BUTTERMILK, or CUSTOM)
- Press the crisp exterior/moist exterior button or uniform texture button to choose a different texture.
- Turn the knob to select roast color grade from 1 to MAX. 7 roast color grades can be chosen. When you have chosen, the waffle maker will begin to pre-heat and the roast color grade will indicate (twinkle).
- When the desired temperature has been reached it will sound one beep and the color grade will stop indicating.
- Put on waffle mix on plates and cover them fully. The appliance will start to work and the timer will start counting down.
- When food is finished on your selected program it will beep 6 times. To indicate it has finished.
- Check whether the food is finished – if not continue to cook again.
- Take out food using a wooden tool – be careful not to burn yourself.
- After use unplug from a power outlet and allow the plates to cool.
CUSTOM FUNCTION:
(a). If selecting the custom function, the waffle maker will begin to pre-heat, when this is completed and the waffle mix has been put on the plates the display will start from 00:00 to time the baking time, and the user can press the ‘power’ button to finish baking on their own.
OTHER:
- Do not use the appliance continuously for over 2 hours.
- Note: if the temperature of the waffle plate is high use cool before storage.
- Storage: Lock the release knob, the machine should be vertically stored.
CLEANING & CARE
- Before cleaning, unplug from the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely.
- Wipe the inside and edges of the plates with a soft cloth or kitchen roll.
- Dry the plates.
- Store away vertically.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaner or scouring pads on plates as this will damage the non-stick coating.
