Usage Instructions

Indoor Use Only:
The Philips Hue indoor devices are intended for indoor use only. Do not use them in wet locations or areas directly exposed to water. Ensure proper installation in a residential setting.

Battery Instructions:

  • Use only the specified types of batteries and do not mix new and used batteries.
  • Insert batteries with the correct polarity to avoid damage to the device.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the product promptly.
  • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

Safety Precautions:

  • Keep the device away from liquids and humidity.
  • Switch off the power before conducting installation, maintenance, or service activities.
  • Avoid strangulation hazards by keeping wiring out of reach of children or securely fixed to the wall.

Disposal Instructions: Dispose of the old device in accordance with the disposal laws in your area. Do not throw batteries away with normal household
waste.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Signify warrants that this device’s hardware components will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, unless a different period is stated on the packaging of the device (the “Warranty Period”).
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Warranty Period for all Energy Starcertied devices is three (3) years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty only applies to the hardware warranty period applicable in the country where you purchased the product) against the warranty conditions of the country where you request such warranty service.

  • Strangulation hazard: Keep the wiring out of arm’s reach of young children or fixed effectively to the wall. Strong magnets! If you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, maintain a safe distance. Keep magnets away from electronic devices.
  • Only use or charge the device with the included adaptor. Adaptor only for indoor use.
  • Do not charge the product in direct sunlight.
  • The device for operation in the band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems.

Warning : Exposure at close distance when the alarm of the camera is sounding may be harmful to your hearing.

WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS FOR DEVICES USING BATTERIES

  • Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect replacement.
  • Batteries should be installed by an adult.
  • Different types of batteries and new and used batteries must not be mixed.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. The supply terminals must not be short-circuited. Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product. Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged. Disposal of your old device:
  • Manage in accordance with disposal laws in your area. Remove the batteries when you discard the product. Do not throw the batteries away with normal household waste.
  • They must be handed in at an official collection point or at a Philips Hue dealer, both of which will dispose of the batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
