IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this
product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons
including the following:
DANGER Risk of electric shock!
- To prevent electric shock, disconnect the plug from the power supply before cleaning or performing any other work on the product.
- This product conforms to protection classII and is safe to use on a mains power supply without an earth connection.
- The used light sources for the product should not exceed the maximum input voltage of 220-240-V (50-Hz) as well as the maximum connected load of 10‘W.
- Do not install any lighting assembly closer than 15 cm from any curtain or similar combustible materials.
- The illuminant can not touch the lamp shade at any time during its usage (after the installation). If the illuminant is touching the lamp shade after installation, do not start using it. Double check and modify the installation.
- If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not drape any objects over the product, e.g. for decoration, as this can cause a build-up of heat.
- Do not use the product if it has been damaged.
- Protect the product from humidity, moisture (spray and dripping water and penetration of liquids) as well as high temperatures (including direct sunlight).
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the device yourself.
INSTALLATION SAFETY
WARNING Risk of injury!
- Take special precautions when working on heights, for example, while using a ladder.
Use the right type of ladder and ensure it is structurally sound. Use the ladder in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
INTENDED USE
- This product is intended for private household use.
- This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liabilities will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or noncompliancewith these instructions.
BEFORE FIRST USE
DANGER Risk of suffocation!
- Keep any packaging materials away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. su£ocation.
- Check the product for transport damages.
- Remove all the packing materials.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DANGER Risk of burns!
- The bulb might be hot after use. Wait for the bulb to cool down before changing.
WARNING Risk of electric shock!
- During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
- To clean the product, wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
- Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by a professional repair centre.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic goods on the environment, by increasing re-use and recycling and by reducing the amount of WEEE going to landfill. The symbol on this product or its packaging signifies that this product must be disposed separately from ordinary household wastes at its end of life.
