INSTALLATION

HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Always perform all drilling outside or in a well-ventilated area and DO NOT inhale any carbon fiber dust. We recommend wearing PPE; a mask and goggles.
When drilling always maintain a 3mm offset between the edge of the armrest and the mounting hole.

The Relentless Pursuit of Speed

  1. When measuring your existing armrest position to mirror the setup across to your new armrests we recommend you take four different dimensions to ascertain the mounting hole positions.

    • A – left armrest outer edge to right armrest outer edge
    • B – left bolt center to right bolt center
    • C – rear edge to rear bolt center
    • D – rear bolt center to front bolt center (note, these may be lateral bolt centers rather than  fore-aft)
      See diagram to the right.
  2. Set your new armrests apart as per dimension A.

    • Image a centreline down the middle and mark this if possible. Then set dimension B evenly across this centreline and mark this on your armrests as this is your lateral armrest width set.
    • Dimension C will determine how far forward/back you position your armrests. Take this dimension in from the rear edge and where this line crosses the dimension
    • B lines these will be your rear mounting holes.
    • Do the same with the dimension D holes and this will set your forward mounting holes.
    • You will now have four mounting holes marked up and ready to drill.
  3. In a well-ventilated area and with all your holes marked, take your drill with the 2mm drill bit installed. Drill your four pilot holes.
Replace the 2mm drill bit with the 5mm drill bit and open out each of the four pilot holes.
Finally, replace the 5mm drill bit with the coun trunk drill bit and drill four countersinks.
Please note these are only required if you are using countersunk head bolts.

  4. Attach your armrests using your existing bolts and apply the 5mm foam padding. If using with our Anemoi extension system we offer pre-slotted armrests.
