Shove-A-Lugs Installation Instructions
- Turn the wheelchair on its side for easiest access to the grip ring.
- Center the design at right in the middle of the wheel. The arrows point to the desired locations of the lugs with appropriate spacing. ( Ensure that no arrows point directly to any of the bolts which attach the grip ring to the wheel.)
- Using two hex screws for each lug and the hex wrench, loosley clamp the two parts of the lug around the grip ring in the desried location.
- Rotate the lug to the desired angle and tighten in place. Tighten sufficiently that no slipping or rotating of the lug occurs. Ensure that the lug will not touch the ground as the wheel rotates. (If the rubber tire on the wheel is excessively worn, it may be neccessary to rotate the lug outward.)
- Repeat with remaining lugs.
