Making a Chenille Stem Christmas Tree
Instructions
You will need:
- A 5cm wooden cone 2.5x5cm
- 2 sparkly chenille stems
- Hot Glue Gun
This is a simple way to make a little Christmas Tree that is the
PERFECT size for my Dicken’s Village Series!
I like using glittery green tinsel stems for it, but it would also look great
in any other sparkly stem – think of iridescent white or gold, or even trying
to combine two colours in one cone!
The cones can be purchased online through a craft supplier or even on Amazon,
just keep in mind the size I specify.
And lastly, if you want to glitz it up you could glue on a little star at the
top or add on a mini string of beads!
Step 1
Starting at the wide end of the cone, add a bit of hot glue, and glue the end
of the chenille stem in place.
Step 2
Continue to glue and wrap the chenille stem all the way up the cone. You will
need two chenille stems to make it all the way!
Step 3
Trim the excess chenille stem.
