DISINFECTING WOOD FLOORS
Pioneer Eclipse™ MeridiClean™ is a concentrated disinfectant that cleans and
disinfects in one easy step.
Use 2 oz of MeridiClean™ per gallon (128 oz) of water.
- Prepare diluted solution.
- Pre-clean any heavily soiled surfaces.
- Apply diluted solution with a sponge, brush, cloth, mop, auto scrubber, mechanical spray device, hand pump, coarse pump or trigger spray device.
- For spray applications, spray 6-8 inches from surface. Do not breathe the spray. Soak a microfiber pad and use that to spread the solution to completely cover the treated surface.
- Treated surfaces must remain wet for 5 minutes.
- Allow to air dry.
Comments / Suggestions:
- Recommend turning off all heat, AC, ventilation, fans, etc. to increase dry time.
- Either apply during day or with a lot of light so that you ensure 100% coverage.
- Keep windows closed to increase dry time.
- Pay special attention to area in front of refrigerator or any source for warm, dry air. These areas will dry faster.
- There will be no residue left behind from the single application.
- If the homeowner has used a cleaner with surfactants, it actually helps MeridiClean™ flow out better and provides a more even distribution. If they only clean with vinegar, there may be a little “beading”. A second wipe with the microfiber will help.
CLEANING WOOD FLOORS
TimberClean is an effective all-purpose cleaner designed specifically for use
on wood floors.
TimberClean Daily (712) is a ready-to-use version that comes in a convenient
spray bottle.
Concentrated TimberClean (713) is a 1:4 concentrate. Use 6.5 oz of TimberClean
per quart (32 oz) of water.
TimberClean is safe to use on wood floors finished with a polyurethane or
acrylic wood coating. Do not use on floors coated with paste wax.
- Apply diluted solution to the floor with a sponge, brush, cloth, mop, auto scrubber, mechanical spray device, hand pump, coarse pump or trigger spray device. For spray applications, spray a light mist, 6-8 inches from surface, or spray the TimberClean directly onto the mop cover or microfiber pad that will be used for cleaning.
- Use the mop or microfiber pad to apply the cleaner to the floor in a back and forth motion. Work in small areas, being sure to finish one area before moving to the next. Rinse the mop or cleaning pads often to avoid streaking. Replace pads/mop head as needed.
- Allow to air dry.
