INSTALL SHOWER VALVE
- Put the product on the wall at the right height and mark it, then slot (depth 60mm).
- After slotting, put the valve inside the slot. Mark the four fixed feet with a pen.
- Use the electric drill with
8’s head to punch 4 holes. - Insert 4 pieces of expanding adhesive pellets and hammer them into the wall.
- The four holes of the valve are aligned with the four expansion pellet ports, and then use screws plus fixing pieces to lock the valve.
- Red and blue markings on the valve: red for hot water pipes, blue for cold water pipes. The place where the pipe connects to the valve’s tooth pattern should be wrapped with raw tape to ensure that there is no water leakage.
Test for Leaks Before Installing wallboard
- Adjust the installation height of the overhead spray and handheld according to your height. Remove the protective cover of the valve with a screwdriver after connecting the overhead spray pipe and handheld pipe. Plumb the water through the valve and pipeline, then test the shower valve to see if it is working properly and check whether there is any leakage at the connection.
- Plug these two joints and let the shower system run for 24 hours, then check for leaks. After ensuring that there is no water leakage of the valve, overhead spray pipe, or handheld pipe, then install the protective sleeve. The next step is lo seal the wall and apply the tile.
- Install the handle, and gently lift is to open the valve, the handle in the center is mixed water, turned to the left is hot water, and turned to the right is cold water. Rotate the handwheel to switch the overhead spray and handheld water.
After tiling remove the protection, and install the valve’s panel. Then
install the handle, and according to the handwheel marking to install it; use
a hexagonal key to turn the screws to fix the handle and the handwheel,
install the decorative knob, finally the valve part is done.
At the end where the overhead spray connects to the spout, install the
decorative ring. Wrap raw tape around the connecting teeth of the overhead
spray pipe and tighten it into the overhead spray outlet hole to make sure
there is no leakage.
Decorative ring set on the handheld fixed base wrapped raw tape on the
connecting teeth, installed them into the handheld pipe interface and
tightened, and then connected to the hose and handheld. The handheld base can
be moved up and down to adjust the angle.
