Product Usage Instructions

Preparation

1. Ensure you have all the required tools as listed in the manual.
2. Inspect the item and contents for any damage or defects before proceeding with the installation.
3. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

Assembly Steps

1. Remove all parts from the box and place on a clean, soft surface.
2. Remove collar loop from the chain by disconnecting the quick link.
3. Install the mounting plate to the junction box and secure it with mounting screws.
4. Secure the collar loop to the mounting plate using pliers.
5. Attach the canopy to the collar loop and secure it with the collar ring.
6. Determine the desired overall length of the lantern and adjust the chain accordingly using chain pliers.
7. Attach the chain to the collar loop and fixture loop using quick links.
8. Thread the fixture wire and ground wire through the chain, ensuring no tension on the wires.
9. Separate and strip insulation on each wire end.
10. Twist all fixture wires together and connect them to the supply wires using wire nuts.
11. Ensure proper grounding by connecting the fixture ground wire to the green grounding screw.
12. Connect the fixture neutral and hot wires to the corresponding supply wires.
13. Check all wire connections are tight before tucking them into the junction box.
14. Install the canopy to the collar loop and secure it with the collar ring.
15. Insert light bulbs into the sockets.

Care Instructions

Clean the lantern only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.

AB Version ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
2. Remove collar loop (D) from chain (H) by removing quick link (E).
3. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure it with mounting screws (C).
4. Secure collar loop (D) to mounting plate (B) using pliers to tighten the locknut.
5. Install canopy (F) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (G).
6. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (H) needed. Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain)
7. Attach chain (H) to collar loop (D) and fixture loop (I) using quick links (E). Secure quick links (E).
8. Thread fixture wire and ground wire through chain (H).
   • NOTE : When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box.
9. Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″.
10. Loosen collar ring (G) and let canopy (F) slip down chain (H) carefully.
11. Twist all fixture wires together. Slip through center hole of collar loop (D).
    • NOTE : Untwist wires and separate to prepare for connection.
12. 12. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A).
    • NOTE : The fixture must be grounded.
13. Connect fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).
14. Connect fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A).
    • CAUTION : Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
15. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
16. Install canopy (F) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (G).
17. Install light bulbs into the sockets.

AGL/PW/ABL Version Installation Instructions

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
2. Remove collar loop (D) from chain (H) by removing quick link (E).
3. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure it with mounting screws (C).
4. Secure collar loop (D) to mounting plate (B) using pliers to tighten the locknut.
5. Install canopy (F) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (G).
6. Determine the desired overall length, and amount of chain (H) needed. Shorten the chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain)
7. Attach chain (H) to collar loop (D) and fixture loop (I) using quick links (E). Secure quick links (E).
8. Feed wires through the hole in the frame, then hang cluster (K) to hook (J) on the fixture frame.
9. Thread fixture wire and ground wire through the chain (H).
   • NOTE : When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box.
