Important
- Please read the Hardware Guide, Installation Guide, and this User Guide before installation and use.
- If your model includes a rechargeable Battery Pack and you want to use the optional charge feature by connecting to your vehicle’s power source, please confirm you are only providing 12 volts to the speaker BEFORE installing the battery pack.
- CAUTION: Do NOT connect to a 24V, 48V or 72V power supply! The voltage for the power input is +12VDC. Connecting the ExtremeTower directly to higher voltages will cause damage to the speaker and cause the rechargeable battery to overcharge and overheat! In extreme cases, excess voltage can cause the battery to expand, leak, or potentially catch on FIRE! Any damage to the battery due to improper connections to higher voltages will VOID THE PRODUCT WARRANTY.
- The Amplified Speaker has a Remote Turn-On Input Wire. It provides a great feature that ensures there is no power drain when your vehicle is turned off . So, you will need to connect this input with the included Remote Turn-On Wire to your vehicle ignition switch. If you are not able to connect it to your vehicle ignition switch, connect this input to a rocker switch (not included), then connect the rocker switch to your vehicle’s power supply.
- The Amplified ExtremeTower Speaker is compatible with the ECOXGEAR audio and LED lighting EcoSystem, which includes LEDCast and EcoCast Innovations. Look for the LEDCast and EcoCast logos on the growing family of ECOXGEAR and SoundExtreme audio and lighting solutions. EcoCast-enabled audio products are designed to be paired with one or more EcoCast-enabled products. Simply initiate EcoCast Transmitting Mode in one SoundExtreme or ECOXGEAR speaker and broadcast your music to one or more EcoCast-enabled products in Receiving Mode.
- LED lights are known to create interference (noise) on some FM radio frequencies (stations). When you tune or seek a station, it is recommended that you turn the LED Party Lights off.

The ExtremeTower speakers are intended to be used indoors or outdoors and in land or water environments. The speakers have been tested to IP66 waterproofing standards, which means the speakers can be exposed to dust and water, but should not be submerged underwater. The speakers are NOT intended for underwater use. Always make sure the cap(s) / cover(s) are clean, free from sand or debris, and correctly fitted. The speaker will only meet IP66 ratings if all rubber seals, gasket(s) and cover(s) / cap(s) are in place. If you notice a muffling of audio after submersion, gently shake the unit to clear excess water. If your speaker is exposed to salt water, clean it thoroughly after use with fresh water.
The power cables and the unit with an improperly fitted cap are NOT waterproof. To prevent fire or shock, do NOT attempt to power this unit if it is wet or you suspect water has entered the unit. In this situation, please return the unit to Grace Digital for a free assessment. If we have found that the unit has carried water, we will repair or replace the unit free of charge.
