SUNTEKCAM HC-881A 36MP Invisible Infrared Camera Trap 4K
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the HC-810A highly qualified hunting camera with excellent technical features and respective accessories. Please read this manual before using the camera and keep the manual for future reference.
Application
- Instant surveillance camera for home, office, construction site, and warehouse
- Motion-triggered infrared night vision surveillance
- Animal observation and hunting;
Power Supply
1.5V AA Alkaline batteries
- This camera works with 4 or 8* AA 1.5V alkaline batteries. Due to voltage differences,
- 1.2V rechargeable batteries are not compatible with this camera When Using 4 batteries, please put them all in the Upper half or lower half of the battery chamber.
Solar Panel
For a better user experience, our engineers designed this camera to Work with
the most standard DC 6V lithium battery build-in solar panels. CPower Adapter
This camera can also be powered with an external 6V DC adapter. Recommend to
remove the alkaline batteries when the power adapter is used, to avoid
surcharging
Note
- Please insert a Micro-SD card before testing the camera.
- Please do not insert or fake out the Micro SD card when the power switch is on ON position
- When using the memory card for the first time, please format the memory card in the camera menu
- The camera will enter USB mode when connected to a computer . In this case, the memory card will be recognized as a removable disk
- Please ensure sufficient power supply when applying firmware update , otherwise the upgrade process could be interrupted incorrectly .

QUICK START
Load Battery
NOTE
- the voltage of rechargeable AA batteries ( 1 . 2V ) is insufficient to power this camera
- Make sure the batteries are installed correctly, mind the polarity. the battery should be installed according to the mark.
Power on and Mode Selection
You can use the Power: Mode switch to turn on the camera and select
working mode. There are three positions for the power switch:
ON / TEST / OFF: They stand for different modes and statuses.
OFF Mode: The camera is completely off. In this mode, you can load the
batteries, and insert and take out the memory card .
Switch: ON/ TEST/OFF. They stand for different modes and status
TEST Mode
In this mode, the screen will light up, and the PIR sensors will be
unavailable under this mode.
- You can access the setup menu and change configuration according to your needs and working conditions
- You can also use the shot button to manually take a photo or record video
- You can press the ” Replay ” button to playback recorded video and photos.
NOTICE
This mode is mainly used for change settings and function tests, the PIR
sensors will not be triggered.
ON Mode
In this mode, the screen is off, and all button operation is not available,
the PlR sensor is on standby and ready to be triggered to take a photo or
record video you can switch the camera to TEST, and use the button operation
to change setting like time date, then switch it to ON and leave it in the
wild field , and it will be triggered by passing animals and record any
movement for you
NOTICE
The camera should be switched from OFF to TEST then ON. Please don’t slide the
power switch from OFF to ON directly

FQA
I can’t turn on my camera
- Please check if the batteries are full power :
- Please check if the battery polarity is correct.
- Please re-install the batteries
My camera is not taking photos or recording videos
- Check if the micro SD card is Class 10
- Check if the micro SD card works normally on other devices :
- Format the micro SD card
The camera doesn’t detect anything!
- Please make sure that the camera is not behind the glass
- Please check the setting in the menu to adjust the detection distance and the detection sensibility of the camera then again,
Why the camera doesn’t record during the night but it works well during day time?
- Please check the battery level of the camera .
- If the battery is low 1 / 3 of the full battery the night vision function will automatically shut down .
- Please change the batteries then the night vision function will restore
My ” Target Recording Time ” function doesn’t work
Please check if you have also turned on the Time Lapse “unction and have chosen the time-lapse mode then set up the lapse length.
