HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
The safety information in this manual reduces the risk of fire or injury if carefully followed. Read this manual carefully to ensure safe operation of the device. Keep the manual for future use.
Follow the classic precautions when using an electrical appliance giving the following:

Ensure that the electrical power and intensity are appropriate for the device by looking at the information on the product;
Do not use another high-power electrical appliance at the same time with the grinder to avoid overloading the circuit and causing a fire or electric shock;
Do not immerse the cable, base, or whole grinder in water or other liquid.
Position the cable so that it does not trip over or unplug it;
Do not bend, crush or damage the power cord; protect it from sharp objects and hot temperatures and surfaces;
Do not handle the unit if the cable is damaged or if you detect a malfunction of the grinder that could be dangerous;
A damaged cable or plug must be repaired by a professional to prevent accidents;
Ensure that electrical connections are clean and dry before lighting the grinder;
Unplug the appliance before cleaning, maintenance or other operation requiring the appliance to move;
Do not touch the blades when the grinder is plugged in.
The blades are very sharp. If the blades are jammed, unplug the unit before cleaning;
The grinder is intended for domestic use and only indoors (do not use outdoors);
Improper use of the appliance and accessories may result in accidents, fire or electric shock; follow the instructions in this manual;
The use of the grinder is prohibited for children; persons with disabilities must use it under the supervision of a third party responsible for their safety;
Do not leave the appliance unattended;
Do not put fingers or kitchen utensils in the grinder while it is running to avoid accidents and damage to the grinder;
Do not remove the motor or blades until the appliance is completely stopped and disconnected.

BEFORE FIRST USE

On receipt of the grinder, make sure that all accessories are present in the packing box.
Plastic bags are dangerous for babies and children who can cause suffocation. Do not leave them within the reach of children.
Detach the power cord and inspect it thoroughly before use. Do not use the appliance if the cable is damaged.
Read the user’s manual to familiarize yourself with the device, its accessories, and its operating instructions. Pay special attention to safety instructions.
Wash the grinder before using it for the first time in accordance with the instructions in the Maintenance and Cleaning section.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Fill the metal bowl with the desired ingredients – see “Suggestions for Use” for examples and detailed instructions.
Place the lid on the bowl and the cover over both. NOTE: A safety function will prevent the unit from functioning if the cover is not properly positioned.
Plug the grinder into a socket compatible with its operating voltage conditions.
To start the appliance, place one hand on the cover and press to begin grinding. Maintain pressure to continue grinding more and more finely – see “Suggested Uses” for examples and detailed instructions.
However, do not hold more than 30 seconds continuously to avoid overheating the blades. We recommend a rest period of one minute between each use.
Grind until desired consistency. To stop grinding, remove the pressure of the cover.
Detach the bowl from the base.
Remove the lids and gently tap the container to loosen the accumulated ingredients, pour the ready to use coffee / spices.

WARNING: RESPECT THE MAXIMUM LEVEL OF MEASUREMENT OF THE BOWL.
MAXIMUM OPERATING TIME IS 30 SECONDS CONTINUOUSLY. RESPECT THE PAUSE TIME BETWEEN EACH USE.
If the appliance overheats, the thermal safety device will be activated. A small amount of harmless smoke may be produced. In this situation, let the grinder cool down for several hours before using it again.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is unplugged.
Always allow the grinder to cool before cleaning.
The blades being very sharp, handle the bowls carefully. Do not touch the blades when the appliance is plugged in. Make sure bowl and blades are cleaned thoroughly before use.
The plastic lids and the bowls should be handwashed with water and dishwashing liquid.
The base of the appliance containing the motor should be cleaned with a damp cloth and a little soap, and only when the appliance is disconnected. Dry with a dry cloth.
If stains appear on the plastic parts, they can be cleaned with a little cooking oil and a dry cloth by rubbing slightly.
Store the grinder in its packaging or in a dry, ventilated place away from children.

WARNING: Never immerse the base of the grinder in water or any other liquid; do not put the appliance underwater. Handle bowls carefully, blades in the bowls are very sharp
CAUTION: Do not put the base of the grinder into the dishwasher. Do not attempt to disassemble the grinder.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE

INGREDIENTS:	DURATION
Coffee – whole tank – tank for coarse grind coffee plunger	Pulse, 8 seconds
Coffee – whole tank – medium grind for Italian coffee maker	Pulse, 15 seconds
Coffee – whole tank – fine grinder for filter coffee maker	Pulse, 25 seconds
Pepper – 1 tablespoon	10 seconds
Cinnamon – 1 stick cut in half	Pulse 3 times 15 secs
Cloves – 1 tablespoon	25 seconds
Anise or fennel seeds – 1 tablespoon	30 seconds
Sesame or linseed seeds – 2 tablespoons	10 seconds
Nuts (coarse grinding) 70 g	Pulse 1-2 times
Nuts (fine grinding) 45g	Pulse 15 times, grind 10 seconds
Oats -1/4 cup	20 seconds

Use the Double Blade bowl to grind dry ingredients such as coffee or spices.
Use the Cross Blade bowl to grind and mix liquid ingredients (such as sauce preparation – Guacamole, Hummus, Salsa, etc.). DO NOT ADD MUCH LIQUID – a small amount of oil or other liquid may be added to the dry ingredients. Sometimes it is necessary to use a spatula or other (no metal utensils), to remove the paste from the walls. Always do this when the unit is unplugged. Do not grind pasty ingredients such as cheese.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

Please dispose of the device in accordance with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19 / EC-WEEE. If you have any question, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste management.

WARRANTY

This product is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, against mechanical or electrical defect. There are no removable parts that can be used inside the device. Any attempted repair by an unauthorized person, renders the warranty invalid.

Add the lid
Add and press the cover to start grinding. Respect the max duration (30s) and the pause time.
