INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• The type R251 Disc Harrow Attachment for Bolens
• Ridemaster is shipped as two bundles consisting of right-hand and left-hand disc gangs with standards and clamps.
• Disc gangs, standards, and clamps are completely assembled.
• The two-gang disc harrow is a versatile tool for mulching, cultivating, hilling, breaking plowed ground, etc. The disc gangs can be placed at any desired angle by loosening the adjusting bolts and retightening when the discs are at the desired angle.
• Extend rear tractor wheel standards so wheels are at the outer edge of the outside discs as shown. To pulverize the soil adjust the gangs so the disc blades are running directly forward. The gangs can be moved to the right or left on the toolbar for various widths: of discing.
• TO THROW “OUT”. Attach the side gangs to the tractor toolbar with the concave, or hollow, side of the discs towards the outside and angle the disc gangs as shown.
• TO THROW “IN”. Attach the disc gangs to the tractor tool bar with the concave, or hollow, sides in, and the gangs opposite to that shown. The center disc will lead the outer discs.

MAINTENANCE

Lubricate the grease fittings on each standard ever: few hours of operation. Force grease in the fitting until it is forced out at the edges of the bearing. Coa disc blades with rust preventative before storing
