interface device. c. Problems or damage caused by misuse, improper power
source, accident, fire, flood, lightening, earthquake or other
natural disaster. d. Problems or damage caused by improper
installation/alignment, or by equipment modification, if by other than
Christie
service personnel or a Christie authorized repair service provider. e.
Problems or damage caused by use of a product on a motion platform or other
movable device where such product has not
been designed, modified or approved by Christie for such use. f. Except where
the product is designed for outdoor use, problems or damage caused by use of
the product outdoors unless
such product is protected from precipitation or other adverse weather or
environmental conditions and the ambient temperature is within the recommended
ambient temperature set forth in the specifications for such product. g.
Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to normal aging of a
product. The warranty does not apply to any product where the serial number
has been removed or obliterated. The warranty also does not apply to any
product sold by a reseller to an end user outside of the country where the
reseller is located unless (i) Christie has an office in the country where the
end user is located or (ii) the required international warranty fee has been
paid. The warranty does not obligate Christie to provide any on site warranty
service at the product site location.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE Preventative maintenance is an important part of the
continued and proper operation of your product. Failure to perform maintenance
as required, and in accordance with the maintenance schedule specified by
Christie, will void the warranty.
REGULATORY The product has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
when the product is operated in a commercial environment. The product
generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of the product in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the
user will be required to correct the interference at the user’s own expense.

screen will display in approxim ately 5 seconds.

he preferred language and power saving m ode.
4. Turn on and connect t he source t hat you want t o display on t he screen
( com put er, not ebook, video player, et c.) . The proj ect or det ect s t he

Make sure t hat t he Source Lock has been set t o Off.
· I f you connect m ultiple sources at the sam e tim e, press the I N PUT
button on the control panel or direct source keys on the rem ote control to
switch between inputs.
· When t he power m ode is in st andby m ode ( power consum pt ion < 0.5W) , t
he VGA out put / input and audio are deact ivat ed when t he proj ect or is in
st andby.
Powering off the projector

The following m essage will be displayed on t he screen.

button again to confirm otherwise the m essage will disappear after 10 seconds.
When you press the
button for the second tim e, the fan will start cooling the system and
will shut down.
The cooling fans cont inue t o operat e for about four seconds for cooling cycle and t he POWER/ STANDBY LED will flash orange.
When t he POWER/ STANDBY LED light s solid orange, t he proj ect or has ent ered st andby m ode.
I f you want to turn the proj ector back on, you m ust wait until the proj ector has com pleted the
cooling cycle and has ent ered st andby m ode. Once in st andby m ode, press rest art t he proj ect or.

Warning Indicator
When the warning indicators ( see below) com e on, the proj ector will autom
atically shutdown: · LI GHT LED indicat or is lit r ed and if POWER/ STANDBY

t he pr oj ect or has ov er heat ed. Under nor m al conditions, the proj ector

How to operate
1. To open t he OSD m enu, press M e n u on t he Rem ot e Cont rol or Proj
ect or Keypad. 2. When OSD is displayed, use t he Up and Down arrows t o

How to use web browser to control your projector
1. Turn on DHCP t o allow a DHCP server t o aut om at ically assign an I P,

Installing and cleaning the optional dust filter
We recom m end you clean t he dust filt er every 500 hours of operat ion, or m
ore oft en if you are using the proj ector in a dusty environm ent. When the
warning m essage appears on the screen, do the following to clean the air
filter:
The usage time of het dust filter is reached.
Please clean the dust filters for better performance.
· The opt ional dust filt er should be used in dust y environm ent s. · I f
the dust filter is installed, a proper m aintenance will prevent overheating
and proj ector
m alfunction. · The dust filt er is opt ional. · The specific int erfaces are
select ed in t erm s of t he specificat ions of t ypes.
Air filter cleaning procedure
1. Power off t he proj ect or by pressing t he
button and unplug the power cord.
2. Pull out t he dust filt er, as shown in t he illust rat ion ( 1) . 3. Carefully rem ove t he dust filt er. Then clean or change t he filt er in illust rat ion ( 2) . 4. To inst all t he filt er, reverse t he previous st eps.
