Welcome to Cricut Expression™! This Quick Start Guide will help you get started. Please allow at least 30-60 minutes to get familiar with your machine. Expect to make some mistakes as you learn. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Place your Cricut Expression™ machine at least 12″ (30.48 cm) from the edge of your table to prevent it from tipping and causing possible injury. Depending on the cutting mat used, allow 12″ (30.48 cm) or 24″ (60.96 cm) in the back of the Cricut Expression machine format movement.
- Open the lid and remove all cardboard inserts.
- Loosen the screw. Insert the green blade assembly into the cradle with the black arrow facing towards you. Tighten screw.
- Plug in.
- Lift display.
- Position keypad overlay.
- Insert cartridge.
- Turn on.
- Remove plastic from cutting mat and press paper against it.
- Gently press mat against the roller bar.
- Press Load Paper key.
- Choose characters and select dial size.
- Select pressure. Use higher setting for thicker materials.
- Press CUT button.
- When finished, press Unload Paper key.
- Lift images off mat.
