In these Safety Instructions the term “Machine” means Cricut EasyPress 3.

Operating Machine in a manner not prescribed in the enclosed instructions, online instructions, and other oFFicial Cricut materials may result in damage to Machine, property damage, injury, or even death.

Return Machine to Safety Base.
Machine’s high operating temperatures can cause burns, damage surfaces, and start fires. Always place Machine in Safety Base when not holding or using.

WITH EXTREME CAUTION.

CAUTION: Use in a well-ventilated area – vapors from heating process may be irritating to sensitive individuals. In case of skin irritation, immediately wash skin with soap and water; for contact with eyes, immediately flush with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

CAUTION: Risk of electric shock. Do not open, modify, or otherwise tamper with Machine.

Always turn Machine OFF before plugging or unplugging from the electrical outlet. Never pull on the cord to disconnect Machine from the electrical outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect Machine.

WARNING: To provide continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only. Connect only to a power outlet that delivers power which is in accordance with the electrical ratings marked on your product.

Before cleaning Machine, unplug from power outlet and allow to cool completely. Only clean with a soft cloth dampened with glass cleaner or water. Never use flammable liquid or solvents like acetone or nail polish remover.

Do not immerse in water or use in wet conditions.

Machine is intended for household and indoor use only. While using Machine, follow these safe-use practices:

  • Use Machine in a well-ventilated area where air temperature does not exceed 35°C (95°F);
  • Be careful when using Machine near combustible or heat reactive materials;
  • Do not apply heat to material longer than recommended;
  • Always unplug Machine and allow it to cool down before storage;
  • Ensure Machine is situated on a flat, stable surface;
  • Do not leave Machine unattended when it is switched on; and
  • Unplug Machine from outlet when not in use and before servicing or cleaning.

WARNING: Machine becomes hot during use. Young children should be kept away.

Machine is not intended for use by children 12 years of age and under; or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or cognitive capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of Machine by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with Machine.

The power cord should be positioned so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).

Use care not to allow the cord to touch the heated surface. Coil the cord loosely when storing.

If the power cord is damaged, do not operate Machine.
