Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Positioning the Water Gauge Display

Choose a suitable position to place the water gauge display where you can feed the wiring loom through the wall cavity or cupboard to the tank sender. Use the provided template to mark out the hole and carefully cut the internal wall, ensuring not to cut into any wall beams, wiring, or plumbing.

Step 2: Wiring and Attachment

Feed the wiring loom through the wall cavity to the senders. Remove the sticky tab backing from the display unit and attach it to the wall.

Step 3: Initial Setup

The RV Electronics display unit reads voltage from each sender and compares it to pre-calibrated empty and full voltages for each tank. By default, the factory pre-programmed settings are for a standard tank height of 180mm with the sender positioned halfway up the tank.

Calibration Procedure (If your installation is different):

Step 1: Single Gauge Example
Drain the water from the tanks you wish to calibrate and remove the front cover of the gauge board by pushing the wings outwards from the center. You will see a 6-position DIP switch and a set button on the front of the gauge board.

Step 2: Setting Empty and Full
For a single tank, use only positions 3 and 4 of the DIP switch (see Fig. 2). Position 3 is used to set EMPTY, and position 4 is used to set FULL.

Step 3: Setting Empty
Slide the DIP switch in position 3 to ON and press the SET button until the 2 bottom LCD needles on the gauge flash. Make sure to return the DIP switch to OFF when done.

Step 4: Setting Full
Fill the water tank to full, slide the DIP switch in position 4 to ON, and press the SET button until the top two LCD needles on the gauge flash. Make sure to return the DIP switch to OFF when done.

If you make a mistake or want to reset a tank to the factory settings, simply slide both the EMPTY and FULL DIP switches to ON for the tank you wish to reset (e.g., DIP position 3 + 4). Press and hold the SET button until all the gauge needles flash ON and OFF.

FAQ:
