Controls

  • Blend: This control allows you to mix the
clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal
remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal can
be adjusted using the Level knob, providing precise control over
    the blend ratio.

  • Level: Use this knob to set the volume of the
    overdriven signal.

  • Drive: Adjusts the amount of gain in the
overdriven signal, allowing you to dial in the desired amount of
    distortion.

  • Grunt Switch: This switch offers three
different bass boost levels before the clipping stage, enabling you
to saturate the low-frequency content according to your
    preference.

  • Attack Switch: The Attack switch determines
the amount of treble content to saturate. The Boost setting
emphasizes the treble content for extra clarity and presence, while
the Flat position leaves this register untouched. The Cut position
reduces the amount of high frequencies being saturated.

  • Equalizer: The Microtubes B7K features a
versatile equalizer section with the following frequency bands: Low
    (+-12dB @ 100Hz), Low Mids (+-12dB @ 1kHz), High Mids (+-12dB @
2.8kHz), and Treble (+-12dB @ 5kHz). Use these controls to shape
    your tone precisely.

  • Parallel Output: This output provides a
hardwired copy of your input signal, which is useful for recording
and live situations when you need a clean signal alongside the
    overdriven sound.
