Precautions

Before using this product, carefully read this manual and retain it for future reference. Read also the instructions for the PlayStation® Vita system.

Safety

  • Do not use this product while driving a car, riding a bicycle or engaging in any activity that requires your complete attention. Doing so may result in accidents or injury.
  • Keep this product out of the reach of small children. Children may swallow small parts, which can lead to injury.

Use and handling

  • If this product causes discomfort to your ears, immediately discontinue use.
  • Do not expose this product to high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight.
  • Do not allow the product to come into contact with any liquids.
  • Do not place any objects on top of the product.
  • Do not twist the cable or pull it forcibly.
  • Do not throw or drop this product, or otherwise expose it to strong physical impact.
  • Never disassemble or modify the product.
  • Follow the instructions below to help prevent the product exterior from deteriorating or becoming discoloured.
    • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
    • Do not place any rubber or vinyl materials on the product exterior for an extended period of time.
    • Do not use solvents or other chemicals. Do not wipe with a chemically-treated cleaning cloth.
  • To clean the earpieces, disconnect them from the headphones and wash them by hand, using a mild soap. After cleaning, dry the earpieces thoroughly before using them.

Changing the earpieces

The headset is equipped with medium-size earpieces. If the earpieces do not fit your ears, replace them with the included small or large-size earpieces. Twist and pull the earpieces to remove them (Figure A).

When installing the earpieces, attach them firmly so that they do not come loose during use.

How to use the in-ear headset

Connect the in-ear headset to the PS Vita system as shown in Figure B. When you are not using the microphone, put the MIC MUTE in the ON position.
