How to use the wrist blood pressure monitor
- Spend five minutes in a comfortable position remaining still. Take a brief break before beginning the reading. Sit back and relax in a supportive chair. Straighten your legs, then plant your feet firmly on the ground.
- Any cloth should be moved away from your wrist. On bare skin, take a reading. Pull the sleeves up. If you can’t raise the arm high enough to take a reading, remove your jacket or sweater.
- With the display on the inside of your wrist, put the cuff on firmly. The cuff should be wrapped around your wrist and Velcro together. Only one finger should fit through the opening in the cuff.
- Put your wrist and arm on a rest at heart level. Put your arm over your chest with your elbow bent for a precise reading. For the optimum reading, it should be parallel to your heart.
- Select “Power” from the menu. Activate the monitor. To turn on the power, look for a button or a switch. Sometimes, the “Power” and “Start” buttons are interchangeable. It can be turned on by pushing it once, and the measurement process may be started by pressing it again.
- Press “Start” to begin. Once everything is ready, pressing “Start” or “Go” will begin taking your blood pressure. While the cuff is reading your blood pressure and expanding and contracting, do not move.
- Take the mean of two readings.
- Observe a brief pause in between each reading.
- If your blood pressure appears high, wait five minutes before getting more measurements.
- Keep a journal or app log of your reading.
How to turn off Voice Broadcast
Please follow these instructions to switch off the voice:
- Press and hold the SET button for longer than three seconds, after which you can begin setting.
- Press the SET button quickly. Press the MEM button to switch between volume 1, volume 2, volume 3, or OFF when the display with SP is flashing. To confirm, press the SET button.
