High Efficiency Commercial DHW Package Solutions
The ARMOR Commercial Condensing Water Heater features Stainless Steel heat
exchanger technology to deliver up to 98% Thermal Efficiency.
To optimize system foot print, deliver the best system appearance, and reduce
installation costs, Lochinvar has created standard water heater Package
Solutions for your application. Each package is factory assembled and tested
to deliver clean, efficiently heated, potable water. All packages include a
welded channel iron skid for the water heaters and storage tank which provide
easy and fast installation. Now more than ever, the ARMOR delivers a wide
range of commercial sizes and features while offering “green” technology that
building owners and facility managers desire.
TAINLESS STEEL CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGER
The heart of the ARMOR is the advance316L Stainless Steel, condensing
heatexchanger built to ASME Section IV requirements. Constructed with
superiorgrade 316L Stainless Steel, the heat exchanger’s condensing design
will heawater at up to 98% Thermal Efficiency.
JACKETED AND INSULATED STORAGE TANKS
Lochinvar’s glass lined, jacketed, and insulated storage tanks have been
specifically engineered and constructed to provide a high volume supply of hot
water at a constant outlet temperature.
The unique Lock-Temp® baffle design is so effective that 80% of the storage
volume can be utilizeat the stored water temperature, regardless of the rate
of outlet water flow. The durable glass lining is molecularly fused to the
tank at 1600°F to assure long lasting protection against rust and corrosion
while providing clean, clear water. Large diameter, high capacity anode rods
inhibit interior tank corrosion to insure a long, trouble-free life.
ASME CONSTRUCTION
Constructed in accordance with the ASME Section IV standard. The vessels are
constructed for 125 PSI and for 210°F maximum water temperature.
ENERGY SAVING PERFORMANCE
Jacketed and insulated to meet the efficiency requirements of the latest edition of the ASHRAE 90.1 Energy Efficiency Standard. The jacket is heavy gauge, galvanized metal, painted on both sides for an attractive appearance with aximum protection. The 2” of expanded foam insulation equals an R-value of R-13 and provides low standby energy loss for optimum performance and economy.
