Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Charging

  1. Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port of the YAKU Item Finder.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source.
  3. Wait until the LED indicator on the YAKU Item Finder turns solid green, indicating that it is fully charged.

Step 2: Pairing with Your Device

  1. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  2. Download and install the YAKU mobile app from the App Store.
  3. Open the YAKU app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the YAKU Item Finder with your device.

Step 3: Attaching the YAKU Item Finder

  • Attach the YAKU Item Finder to the item you want to keep track of, such as your keys or bag, using the provided attachment accessory.

Step 4: Locating Your Item

  1. Open the YAKU app on your device.
  2. Tap on the “Find Item” button within the app.
  3. The YAKU Item Finder will emit a loud beep and the app will display the approximate distance between your device and the item.
  4. Walk around while checking the app to get closer to the item. The distance displayed on the app will decrease as you get closer to the item.

Step 5: Ring Your Device

  • If you have your YAKU Item Finder but can’t find your phone, you can use it to ring your device. Simply press the button on the YAKU Item Finder, and your phone will emit a loud ringtone, helping you locate it.

Works with Apple Find My

Connection

  1. Open the iPhone Find My APP.
  2. Click the interface + mark: select to add other supported items and click search.
  3. Name of the interface: BW-M08, click to select the connection.
  4. Customize the name and description according to the interface prompts.
  5. The interface indicates that the item is connected to the Apple ID, click agree and complete the connection.
  6. The set name flag appears on the map after completing the connection.
  7. Click the interface to play the sound, and the item can be heard to indicate the location of the item.
  8. RESET: Long press the button at the top of the product, last for more than 6 seconds, and realize the product function reset after letting go.

Remove

  1. Navigate to the item page on the Find My app.

  3. Tap”Remove item”, then “Remove”.

Other operations

Lost mode

When the item is lost, the following method is adopted. The picker prompts the owner through the page, which helps to quickly recover the item.

  1. If the item is lost after completing the connection and use, click the name of the item to expand the project, and the loss mode occurs.
  2. Click the Enable button below and click according to the prompts for the next step.
  3. Enter the owner’s own contact information: phone number or email address, click Next.
  4. Check the page to confirm whether the information is correct and click Enable. (Ensure that others can accurately contact the owner through contact information after picking it up).
  5. Return to the project to see that the lost mode is enabled.

Contact the owner

  1. Find MY interface: Select to identify the found items and select the connection.
  2. For more on the reference page, according to the interface prompts and. click Next.
  3. Or turn off the power supply as prompted on the page.
  4. Displace the battery by switch replace the power step.
