LOFTILLA CS20M Digital Weight Scale
LOFTILLA Body Composition Scale measures 13 body data, including weight, body fat percentage, BMI, body water, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone mass, BMR, metabolic age, protein, subcutaneous fat, skeletal muscle, and fat-free body weight, using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology.
The scale comes with a free app named Loftilla Plus, available from Apple App Store (the iOS version) or Google Play Store (the Android version). The scale has a large color screen. When the scale connects to your phone via Loftilla Plus app while you measure, the large screen on the scale displays both weight and body fat percentage. You can check all 13 body composition data in the app. This smart scale is intended for home use only.

RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. The scale is powered by three AAA batteries. It would cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas if a battery is subjected to extremely high temperature or low air pressure. Disposing the battery into fire or a hot oven, mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery can result in an explosion.
GENERAL SAFETY GUIDE
- Do not use it if you have a pacemaker, or any other internal medical devices in your body.
- Do not use it if you are pregnant.
- Do not use it on a slippery floor.
- Do not use it when your body is wet.

- Do not strike or drop the scale.
- Do not stand on the edge of the scale or jump on the scale.
Use and Care
- Place the scale on a hard and flat floor before measurement.
- Calibrate the scale for each use. Turn on it (step on/off) and wait for the scale back to 0, then step on the scale barefoot to measure.
- Use the scale under the same condition during same hour to have comparable and consistent measurements. Empty your bladder before weighing.
- Do not overload the scale (maximum weight capacity: 180kg/396lb).
- Remove batteries if the scale is not likely to be used for over one month.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents to clean the scale. Clean it with a damp or dry cloth.
- Do not get water or any other liquids into the scale.

Getting Started
Power Up Your Scale
- Open the battery compartment and install them correctly. Immediately place the scale on a hard and flat floor. Your scale should display 0. Then close the battery cover. Your scale is ready for use.
- To turn on the scale, step on it briefly and then step off.
Initial Setup
- Download “Loftilla Plus” app. Go to App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android on your device, search for “Loftilla Plus” or scan the QR code below to download.
- Open the app, allow Bluetooth permission. Turn on location permission when using an Android phone.
- Create a Loftilla Plus account. Sign up and complete your profile.
- Pair your scale. On your app home screen, tap “+” or “Pair the Device”, tap “Smart Scale”, and turn on your scale by briefly stepping on and then off. Tap “CS20M” and “Finish” button, and then go to the home page. Your scale has successfully paired.
Take Measurements
- Open Loftilla Plus app on the home screen.
- Place your scale on a hard and flat floor, not on a carpet. Turn on the scale by briefly stepping on and then off. Wait for the scale to display 0.
- Step on the scale barefoot until the measurement is done. You will hear a sound when the measurement data is transferred to your phone.
Note: The scale can be used without the app as a regular digital weight scale to measure weight only.

Troubleshooting
My app does not update my measurement data.
- This is a connection issue. Please follow instructions below to reconnect.
- On your phone Settings, make sure that Bluetooth is on, Loftilla Plus > Bluetooth is on if you use an iPhone, and Location service is on if you use an Android phone.
- Open your app, tap menu icon at the top-right corner, choose My device, tap “+ Add device” > “Smart Scale”, and follow the prompt to briefly step on then off the scale. A CS20M scale icon appears, tap on it. Tap “Finish” button, and then go to the home page. You should see a Bluetoothicon displayed on the scale when Loftilla Plus app is open on the home page.
- Keep the app open, turn on the scale, step on the scale barefoot to measure until the measurement is done. You will see your data is shown on the app.
My scale stopped working.
- It is possibly a battery issue, or a connection issue.
- Replace batteries.
- If your scale displays weight correctly but your app does not show your data, please follow instructions in Troubleshooting 1.
My weight data are not accurate.
- Most likely your scale is placed on a carpet, a rug, or a soft surface when weighing in. Please make sure to place your scale on a hard and flat floor when you step on.
My body fat percentage seems inaccurate.
- Most likely you have incorrect info in your profile.
- To check your profile, open your app, tap “me”, and then tap your name. It leads you to the Profile screen.
- Make sure your gender is correct.
- Choose proper athlete mode. If you are an athlete or a muscular person, or you work out regularly, please enable the athlete mode.
- When complete, please tap the “Confirm” button to save your profile.
- It is normal your body weight and body fat fluctuate during the day. To have comparable and consistent measurements, empty your bladder before weighing, and measure around same timeand under similar conditions.
The scale displays Err1 or Err2.
- Err1 is a measuring error. Your scale detected an unstable weight on the scale. Make sure that the scale is placed on a flat, hard surface (not carpet), and you’re distributing your weight evenly while holding still.
- Err2 is a calibration error. Pull one battery out and put it back in, and immediately place the scale on a hard and flat floor. Let the scale calibrate to be 0, and then close the battery cover.
