Step 1: Connect the Equipment
To set up your unmanaged switch, follow these steps: -
- Connect your computer to the switch using an Ethernet cable.
2. Connect the switch to your internet source (e.g., modem) using another Ethernet cable.
3. If desired, connect an optional modem or router to the switch using additional Ethernet cables.

Step 2: Connect to Power and Power On
Make sure to use the correct power adapter for your region. -
- Locate the Off/On switch on your switch.
2. If your switch has an Off/On switch, move it to the “On” position to provide power to the device.
Note: The power adapter is not included in the box and must be purchased separately.

Step 3: Check the Status
Check the status of your switch by looking at the LED indicators: -
- Power LED: It should be “On” to indicate that the switch has power.
- Port LEDs: The Ethernet link LED should be “On” and the activity LED should be blinking to indicate an active connection. If there is no link, the LEDs will be off.
