Product Usage Instructions

Jib Stand Setup

1. Loosen the lower knob of the Jib Stand, as shown in the image.
2. Extend the legs along the Center Post to their widest position and re-tighten the lower knob for added stability.

Assembling the Jib Arm

1. Insert the Center Post of the Jib onto the Stand, as shown in the image.
2. After inserting the Center Post, secure it with pins.
3. Secure the attachment with the help of the knobs, as shown in the image.

Connecting the 2nd Jib Section to the Center Post

1. Loosen the bolt from the Center post using a spanner and remove the washers to further remove the bolt.
2. Insert the end of the 2nd section in the Center Post and align the holes of the section with the Post to screw in the shank.
3. Re-insert the black washers and push the shank to tighten the attachment with the dome nut.
4. Tighten the dome nut from both sides using a wrench and secure the Jib section using a pin, as shown in the image.
5. The jib section is securely attached to the middle section.
6. Use the spanner and Allen key to remove the bolt for setting the position of the Central Pool Adapter.
7. Set the position of the Central Pool Adapter and insert the bolt to properly secure it, as shown in the image.
8. Tighten the bolt using the spanner and Allen key.

Attaching the Middle and End Sections

1. Remove the bolts in the front of the Middle section using the spanner and Allen key, as shown in the image.
2. Align the middle and end sections together to insert the bolt and nuts.
3. Tighten the bolt using the spanner and Allen key to secure it.
4. Remove the bolts of the middle section using the spanner and Allen key.
5. Align the middle and front sections to insert the bolts to secure them.
6. Now, tighten the bolts using the spanner and Allen key, as shown in the image.

Final Setup

1. Remove the bolts of the Center pool Adapter by loosening them.
2. Then, align the central pool adapter in the center of the wire puller and insert the bolt, as shown in the image.

  A: Yes, this camera crane is designed to be compatible with various types of cameras. However, please ensure that your camera’s weight does not exceed the recommended weight capacity of the crane.

Jib Stand Setup

• Loosen the lower knob of the Jib Stand, as shown in the image.
• Extend the legs along the Center Post to their widest position and re-tighten the lower knob for added stability.

Assembling the Jib Arm

1. Insert the Center Post of the Jib onto the Stand, as shown in the image.
2. After inserting the Center Post, secure it with pins.
3. Secure the attachment with the help of the knobs, as shown in the image.

Connect the 2nd Jib Section to the Center Post

• Loosen the bolt from the Center post using a spanner and remove the washers to further remove the bolt.
• Insert the end of the 2nd section in the Center Post and align the holes of the section with the Post to screw in the shank.
• Re-insert the black washers and push the shank to tighten the attachment with the dome nut.
• Tighten the dome nut from both sides using a wrench and secure the Jib section using a pin, as shown in the image.
• The jib section is securely attached to the middle section.
• Use the spanner and Allen key to remove the bolt for setting the position of the Central Pool Adapter.
• Set the position of the Central Pool Adapter and insert the bolt to properly secure it, as shown in the image.
• Tighten the bolt using the spanner and Allen key.
• Remove the bolts in the front of the Middle section using the spanner and Allen key, as shown in the image.
• Align the middle and end sections together to insert the bolt and nuts.
• Tighten the bolt using the spanner and Allen key to secure it.
• Remove the bolts of the middle section using the spanner and Allen key.
• Align the middle and front sections to insert the bolts to secure them.
• Now, tighten the bolts using the spanner and Allen key, as shown in the image.
• Remove the bolts of the Center pool Adapter by loosening them.
• Then, align the central pool adapter in the center of the wire puller and insert the bolt, as shown in the image.
• After inserting the bolt in the Central pool adapter, tighten it using the Allen key.
• Loosen the wing nuts and detach them.

Jr. Pan Tilt Head Setup

• Attach the Jr. Pan-Tilt Head to the Front Section head plate and insert the screw in the threaded hole.
• Similarly, insert the remaining screws to securely attach the Pan-Tilt Head.
• Jr. Pan-Tilt Head is properly Attached to the Jib.
• Connect the 4-pin male connector of the cable to the 4-pin female connector on the head for panning and tilting.

Attaching Joystick Controller

• Unwrap the Velcro strap around the 12V joystick controller and safely remove the cap, as shown in the image.
• Loosen the knob at the back of the 12V joystick controller and insert it into the weight rod.
• After properly inserting the Joystick controller, tighten both the knobs to secure it.
• Now, attach the 4-pin Power Cable with the Joystick Controller.
• Attach one end of the 12v adapter cable to the adapter.
• Connect the electric plug of the 12v adapter wire to the universal adapter.
• Attach the 4-pin Power Cable with the Joystick Controller.

Joystick Controlled Movement Functions

• Controller- Adjusts the speed of pan & tilt based on the requirement of the shot.

• Damping Control- Prevents the Head from stopping with a jerk, enabling you to achieve smooth endings.

• Pan-Tilt Direction- You can reverse the panning & tilting direction as & when required.

• Loosen the bolt of the Jr. Pan-Tilt Head using the Allen key and retighten it after properly positioning the head.

• Attach your camera to the Head’s camera plate using the provided check nut.
  NOTE : If the Joystick Control is opposite, undo the connectors of motors, rotate 180° and re-install.

• Your Camera is Properly attached with the Jr. Pan Tilt Head.
  NOTE : Proaim Jr. Pan tilt offers complete 360° pan & tilt inaudible movements while keeping your camera safe and secure.

Proaim’s Lanc zoom controller is a universal controller for both LANC and Panasonic DV cameras, with a con-verter switch that allows for variable-zoom speed from slow to fast. The zoom lever allows you to zoom out to wide-angle or zoom in to telephoto. Lightweight and compact controller features an outlet cable that can be clamped on tripod pan handles, monopods, stabilizers, and other such devices. Works pefectly with Sony, Pana-sonic & Canon cameras with a 2.5mm mini-jack LANC input.

• Change over to the corresponding camera mode.
• Make sure that the cable terminal position is fit to the unit.
• The wrong usage is causing the problem.
• Do not fix by excessive force which causes unexpected damage.
• Do not use excessive force during usage.
• Do not pull out the cable which may cause malfunction.
• Please avoid water and raindrops to avoid the malfunction.
• Do not subject this unit to strong vibrations or shocks
• Do not expose the unit in direct sunlight, near hear-producing objects, in a hot car, or in other hot places, as this may deform or discolor the unit.
• Do not apply organic solvent such as thinner.
• Misuse of this product may cause damage or malfunction.
• Do not disassemble or modify which may cause fault.

CAUTION FOR USERS

1. Change the camera mode.
   Not all functions may be available depending on the camera’s working mode (e.g).
   If using Sony camera memory mode the “Record start/stop” functions are not working. And some functions may not work with some old cameras.

2. Keep the cable socket and stereo mini jack clean at all times.

3. Remove the unit after usage.

SET THE CORRESPONDING MODE
Following are abbreviations for camera manufacturers for setting the mode

DETAILS OF ZOOM CONTROL

ATTACH TO THE PAN HANDLE

1. Loosen the clamp knob till enough space is available.
2. Attach to the pan handle
3. The Centre of the pipe is to be fit to clamp “V” shape.
4. Firmly tighten the clamp by using your hands. CAUTION: Do not use excessive force.

FIX THE CABLE TO THE ZOOM UNIT

• A cable socket is available both front and side.
• Insert the cable either depending on the situation. It works as same both front or side positions.

ATTACH THE CABLE TO CAMERA
Make sure that switch is changed to corresponding mode.

1. Make sure that position is available on camera.
2. Make sure that camera is switched off.
3. Insert the cable at designated position.

CAUTION : Do not insert at wrong position which will cause unexpected damage.

OPERATION

• Record start/stop button
  This changes the mode of “Record start” and “Record stop” alternatively.

• Zoom lever (Variable speed zoom)
  “W” Indication: Turn toward “W” to zoom out to wide-angle.
  “T” Indication: Turn toward “T” to zoom out to telephoto.

STORAGE
When do not use, insert the stereo mini jack into both sides as indicated.
