Important Information
Read the instruction manual carefully before operation and keep for future reference.
Safety instructions
- Before connecting the appliance to the supply mains, check that the voltage of the appliance corresponds to that of the voltage mains in your home.
- The appliance is designed only for domestic use. Manufacturer does not bear any responsibility for damage resulting from non-compatible with the instructions use.
- The appliance should only be used for popcorn preparation.
- Never use the appliance outdoors.
- If the supply cord or the appliance malfunctions or it has been damaged in any manner, do not operate the appliance and contact an authorized service center. Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself.
- Do not pull the cord to unplug. Do not bend or fold the cord around the appliance.
- Do not use the cord as a handle.
- Do not leave the power cord hanging over the edge of tables or counters or touching wet or hot surfaces.
- Do not use any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. It may cause injury and appliance destruction.
- Do not use with voltage converter.
- Do not place the appliance near microwave oven, electric oven, gas oven or washing machine.
- Keep the appliance away from flammable objects or other heat sources.
- Do not use outdoors or where aerosol spray products are being used or oxygen is being administrated.
- Make sure that the socket is easily accessible at any time to ensure that the unit can be disconnected quickly from the electricity supply if needed.
- Do not use the appliance near places with humidity or high temperature.
- Make sure that is enough space around the appliance when in use. Do not place near flammable material such as curtains, pillows, furniture, etc.
- Do not place the appliance on any heat sensitive surface when hot or when plugged in.
- Use the appliance in an upright position.
- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while you are in contact with water.
- Do not immerse the appliance to water or any other liquid.
- Do not touch the appliance if has fallen into water. Remove plug from the wall outlet.
- Never use, place or store the appliance in the bathroom, near swimming pool or any other place with humidity and high temperature. Do not use, place or store the appliance where it may get wet.
- Do not use the appliance when it is empty.
- Do not overfill the corn inlet, one measuring cup is sufficient.
- Do not touch the heated surfaces when the appliance is in operation, as there is a risk of burns.
- Never use the appliance without all parts installed properly.
- Do not remove the lid before the procedure is finished and you switch off the appliance.
- Do not add corn in the corn inlet while the appliance is operating.
- Do not move the appliance when in use.
- Do not place any objects on or under the appliance that could obstruct the air flow from the air inlets.
- Always switch OFF (“O” position) and unplug the appliance if it is not in use before moving, cleaning, assembling or disassembling and storing it.
- Before unplugging the appliance from the socket, switch the power button in position “O” (OFF).
- Please note that the appliance is powered up when connected to the power supply, even when the switch is in position “O” (OFF).
- The appliance should be used only by adults.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- The appliance should only be stored indoors in a dry place away of moisture and high or very low temperature and avoid direct exposure under ultraviolet.
- Make sure the appliance is clean and dry before storing.
- Let the appliance cool down before storing.
- The appliance in not intended to be used on the following cases which are not covered by warranty:
- professional use
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
- farm houses
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.

Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance as there is a risk of burns.
WARNING!
Always fill the corn inlet using the measuring cup. One cup is sufficient for
each use. Do not overfill the corn inlet as this will disturb the normal
function of the appliance and cause damages.
WARNING!
The appliance works by hot air. Do not add any oil, salt or other ingredients
into the corn inlet.
WARNING!
Do not cover the appliance in any way in order to avoid overheating and fire.
WARNING!
Do not use any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. Do not operate
with any external timer or remote control system.
WARNING!
This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they are under supervision and they have been given specific
instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
WARNING – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do reduce the risk of electric shock do not attempt to open and repair the
appliance by yourself. For any repair or maintenance contact an authorized
service center.

Before first use
- Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials. Keep plastic bags out of the reach of babies and children.
- Do not put the appliance underwater in order to clean it.
- Clean the external surface of the main unit, with a soft dump cloth.
- Clean all the detachable parts of the appliance (lid & measuring cup) with warm soapy water. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or in a dish washer. Never use highly corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents. Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the appliance.
- Place the appliance on a flat and dry surface.
- Unfold the cord completely and make sure that there is not any sign of damage before using the appliance.
- Before connecting the appliance to the supply mains, check that the voltage of the appliance corresponds to that of the voltage mains in your home.
- Make sure that all parts of the appliance are properly mounted before switching on the appliance.
- you notice an odor coming out of the appliance during the first use, it is normal.
- Do not use the device for more than 5 minutes continuously. Allow the appliance to cool down for 3 minutes after each use. If you use the device for more than 2 times, a break is necessary to allow the unit to cool.
- Not all the corn kernels will “pop”. Some kernels will remain unpropped. This is not problem of the appliance, but it is the nature of the corn. Do not run the machine for longer than 5 min for each use to try to “pop” all the unpropped corn.
Operation
- Make sure the appliance is not connected to the power supply.
- Fill the measuring cup (l) with corn kernels.
- Pour the corn kernels into the corn inlet (3).
- Place the lid (2) on the top of the main unit (4).
- Place the measuring cup (l) on the top of the lid (2).
- Place a heat resistant bowl under the popping chute to collect the popcorn.
- Make sure that all parts of the appliance are properly mounted before turning the appliance ON.
- Connect the appliance to the power supply.
- Press the power ON/OFF switch (5) in position “I”. The appliance with start functioning and the popcorn will be ready in less about 3 minutes.
- When the procedure is finished switch OFF the appliance by pressing the power ON/OFF switch (5) in position “O” and disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
Note:
The measuring cup (l) can also be used for butter melting. Add 2 teaspoons of
butter into the measuring cup (l) before you place in on the lid (2). During
the operation of the appliance the butter will melt. After the procedure of
popcorn making is finished remove the measuring cup from the lid (2) and pour
the melted butter over the popcorn you just prepared.
Caution!
When using the measuring cup (l) for butter melting be very careful on how you
place it on the lid (2) and ensure that no butter will drip or drop into the
corn inlet (3) in any way.
Please always make sure to clean the measuring cup (l) before you use it again
to fill with corn kernels.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Clean the appliance after each use.
- Always power off and remove the plug from the mains supply. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Clean the external surface of the main unit, with a soft dump cloth.
- Clean the corn inlet with a dry cloth.
- Clean all the detachable parts of the appliance (lid & measurement cup) with warm soapy water.
- Never use highly corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or in a dish washer.
- Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.
Overheating protection
The appliance has a built-in thermal switch that automatically switches the
appliance off in case of overheating.
In that case switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the wall
socket. Allow the unit to cool down and then switch on again.
