Precautions

Set up and handling

• Do not place heavy items on the product, throw or drop the product, or otherwise expose it to strong physical impact.
• Do not place the product on surfaces that are unstable, tilted, or subject to vibration.
• Do not leave the product on the floor.
• Do not expose the product or accessories to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight during operation, transportation, and storage.
• Do not remove the vertical stand immediately after using your PlayStation®5 console as the stand’s mounting screw may become hot during use and cause burns.

Care and cleaning

Follow the precautions below to help prevent the product exterior from deteriorating or discoloring.

• Do not apply volatile substances such as insecticide.
• Do not allow rubber or vinyl materials to be in prolonged contact with the product.
• Do not use thinner, benzine, or alcohol. Avoid using wipes, chemically-treated cloths, and other products that contain such substances.
• Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Attach the stand

The method of attachment differs between the CFI-2000 model group and the CFI-1000 model group consoles. Make sure to follow the correct attachment method for your console model.
Place your console on a soft cloth spread over a flat surface before attaching the stand.

Attaching the stand to a CFI-2000 model group console

1. Go to the control center and select Power > Turn Off PS5.
   The screen goes blank, the power indicator flashes white, and then turns off.

2. Place the PS5® console with the rear side facing up and then remove the screw cap.

3. Attach the screw cap to the screw hole (marked with ) on the stand.

4. Align the screw hole (marked with ) on the stand with the console’s screw hole, and then secure with the mounting screw using your hand. You can also use a coin to tighten the screw.

Attaching the stand to a CFI-1000 model group console

1. Go to the control center and select Power > Turn Off PS5.
   The screen goes blank, the power indicator flashes white, and then turns off.

2. Fix the attachment to the stand.
   Insert the attachment into the raised part of the stand.

3. Place the PS5 console with the rear side facing up and then remove the screw cap.

4. Attach the screw cap to the screw hole (marked with ▢) on the stand.
   You can also use a coin to tighten the screw.

5. Align the screw hole (marked with △◯) on the stand with the console’s screw hole, and then secure with the mounting screw using your hand.
   You can also use a coin to tighten the screw.

Limitations of Liability

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC (“SIE LLC”) warrants to the original purchaser that this product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to any consumables (such as batteries). For defects in material or workmanship within the warranty period, upon showing a proof of purchase, SIE LLC agrees for a period of one (1) year to either repair or replace this product with a new or factory recertified product at SIE LLC’s option. For the purpose of this Limited Warranty, “factory recertified” means a product that has been returned to its original specifications. Visit playstation.com/help or call 1-800-345-7669 to receive a return authorization and shipping instructions. As the original purchaser, you will be responsible for inbound shipping costs and any packaging materials required. SIE LLC will then return the repaired or replaced product at no cost to you including return shipping. This warranty shall not be applicable and shall be void if the defect in the SIE LLC product has arisen through abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment, neglect, or means other than from a defect in materials or workmanship.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS OR CLAIMS OF ANY NATURE SHALL BE BINDING ON OR OBLIGATE SIE LLC. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE ONE (1) YEAR PERIOD DESCRIBED ABOVE.
