Product Information

The MK770 is a 95% hybrid wireless keyboard with a gasket structure and hot- swappable design. It comes with a 2.4GHz donglefor wireless connectivity and a USB type-C to Type-A cable for wired connection. The keyboard features a three-way roller for easy volume control and quick access to various functions. It also has four customizable profiles and LED lighting effects.

Product Usage Instructions

Connecting the Keyboard
To connect the MK770 keyboard, you have two options:

  1. Wireless Connection:
  2. Insert the 2.4GHz dongle into your computer’s USB port.
  3. Make sure the keyboard is turned on.
  4. Press the “FN + Enter” keys to enter the 2.4GHz pairing mode.
  5. The keyboard will automatically pair with the dongle.
  6. Wired Connection:
  7. Connect one end of the USB type-C to Type-A cable to the keyboard’s USB port.
  8. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer’s USB port.
  9. The keyboard will be ready to use.

Keyboard Functions

Resetting to Default

  • To reset all settings to default: Press “FN + Left Shift + A”.

Resetting Profile to Default

  • To reset the selected profile to default: Press and hold “FN + Left Shift + S” for 5 seconds.

Changing LED Lighting Modes

  • To cycle through the LED lighting modes: Press “FN + F5”.

Changing LED Lighting Brightness

  • To cycle through the LED lighting brightness levels: Press “FN + F8”.

Changing LED Lighting Effects

  • To change the foreground lighting effect: Press “FN + F6”.
  • To change the background lighting effect: Press “FN + F7”.

Changing Color Levels
To change the color levels for each RGB channel:

  • Red: Press “FN + F2”.
  • Green: Press “FN + F3”.
  • Blue: Press “FN + F4”.

Switching Profiles
To switch between profiles:

  • Profile 1: Press “FN + 1”.
  • Profile 2: Press “FN + 2”.
  • Profile 3: Press “FN + 3”.
  • Profile 4: Press “FN + 4”.

Other Functions

  • To lock the Windows key / full keyboard: Press “FN + F9”.
  • To control media playback: Press “FN + Play/Pause”, “FN + Previous Track”, “FN + Next Track”.
  • To take a screenshot: Press “FN + 8” for PRT SC, “FN + 9” for SCR LK, “FN + 0” for PAUSE.
  • To navigate to the beginning or end of a document/page: Press “FN + =” for HOME, “FN + =” for END.
  • To select a Bluetooth device: Press “FN + Z/X/C” for BT device 1/2/3.

  • Q: How do I reset the keyboard to factory settings?

  • FN + F2 = Red Color Levels (0-9)

  • FN + F3 = Green Color Levels (0-9)

  • FN + F5 = Cycle LED Lighting Mode

  • FN + F6 = Lighting Foreground Effect

  • FN + F7 = Lighting Background Effect

  • FN + F8 = Cycle LED Lighting Brightness (0-4)

  • FN + F9 = Windows Lock / Full Keyboard Lock

  • FN + F10 = Speed Up LED Lighting Effect

  • FN + F11 = Slow Down LED Lighting Effect

  • FN + F12 = Switching Lighting Effect Direction

  • FN + 1 = Profile 1 (Default)

  • FN + 2 = Profile 2

  • FN + 3 = Profile 3

  • FN + 4 = Profile 4

  • FN + = Play/Pause

  • FN + = Previous Track

  • FN + = Next Track

  • FN + Z/X/C = Select BT device 1/2/3

  • FN + Enter = Enter 2.4GHz Pairing Mode

  • FN + Right Shift = Switching OS (Windows/macOS)*

  • When holding FN, Right Shift will light blue for Windows and white for macOS to indicate the keyboard OS status.

  • Scroll Down = Volume Down

  • Scroll Down = Next Track
  • Scroll Up = Previous Track
  • Press = Play / Pause

PROFILE 3

  • Scroll Down = Reduce Lighting Brightness (0 – 4)
  • Scroll Up = Increase Lighting Brightness (0 – 4)
  • Press = Turn On / Off Backlight

PROFILE 4

  • Scroll Down = Cycle LED Lighting Mode –
  • Scroll Up = Cycle LED Lighting Mode +
  • Press = Cycle Lighting Mode Speed (1 – 5)

WHAT IS AND IS NOT COVERED
It is important to note that our warranty is not an unconditional guarantee for the duration of the Program. Any replaced parts become the property of Cooler Master. The Program does not apply to the software component of a product or a product which has been damaged due to accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, usage not in accordance with product specifications and instructions, natural or personal disaster, or unauthorized alterations, repairs or modifications.

The Program does also not cover any events such as below:

  • Any damages unrelated to manufacturing defects.
  • Any unsuitable environment or use of the product in Cooler Master Opinion.
  • Any product which has been modified without official permission from Cooler Master, or on which the serial number or warranty sticker has been defaced, modified, or removed. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
  • Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, commercial or industrial use, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions included with the product.
  • Third party products using Cooler Master Components will not be covered by warranty. See your vendor or the manufacturer for information about servicing.
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Cooler Master, Inc.
  • Any shipment damages (claims must be made with the carrier).
  • Unauthorized repairs to a Cooler Master product will void the warranty offered by the Program. Cooler Master reserves the right to refuse to service any product which has been altered, modified or repaired by non-Cooler Master Service personnel.
  • Cooler Master does not warrant that this product will meet your requirements. It is your responsibility to determine the suitability of this product for your purpose.
  • Removal or installation charges.
  • You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Cooler Master. Cooler Master pays the cost of returning a product to You (applies only if product is directly purchased from Cooler Master).
  • Cooler Master reserves the right to replace the product with a service product at their sole discretion at any time.
  • Product malfunction or damage resulting from liquids or moisture.
  • All accessories that malfunction due to physical damage such as: USB cables, extension cables, adapter cables, adapters, power cords, screws, retention brackets, ear cups, and all other similar accessories.

EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES
COOLER MASTER’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT.

COOLER MASTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT, DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS OR OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  • ANY CLAIM AGAINST THE CUSTOMER BY ANY OTHER PARTY

WARRANTY INFORMATION

If the product is found with reasonable defect within the period of (refer to Table A..) starting on the first day of purchase (with proof of invoice), this is what you must do, to claim warranty.

PROCEDURES:

  1. Consumers should return to the shop where he/she has bought the goods, After confirming with the shop with a valid invoice, they may approach the distributor for RMA claim.
  2. After confirmed by the distributor that the goods was damaged due to natural causes, replacement and repair will be done by distributor (including brand new or refurbished goods)
  3. All faulty goods must return to the distributor, expenses for returning the faulty goods will be covered by the consumer, and distributor will cover the cost involved in the transporting of parts or repaired goods to the consumer.

Regarding all the expenses incurred in making the claim, and this is how you would claim:

  1. Within the valid warranty date, starting from the first day of issuing invoice, Retail shops will assist in confirmation with distributor for the consumer for the following.
    • A. If the damage was caused by the consumer, then the consumer should cover all expenses in fixing the product, if the product still can’t be fixed, we would suggest consumer in buying a brand new product.
    • B. Product defect caused under natural use, expenses will be covered by the distributor.
  2. Faulty products with expired warranty dates, we would suggest consumer to purchase a new products, without undergoing for repairs.
