WARNING!

  1. Non-observance of the following instructions could lead to personal injury or damage to properties (electric shocks, burns, fire). The following safety recommendations and risk indications not only serve to protect your health and that of others, but also serve to protect the product. Therefore, please observe the recommendations and warnings provided here and pass on this manual when you give the product to someone else.
  2. This heating pad should not be used by persons who are sensitive to heat or who require protection, because they cannot respond to overheating (e.g. diabetics, persons with skin alterations or scars in the application area that are caused by disease. after intake of painkillers or alcohol).
  3. Do not use this heating pad for very young children (0- 3 years of age). as they cannot respond to overheating.
  4. Do not use this heating pad for young children (3- 8 years of age). unless the switch is set by a parent or supervisor and it has been properly explained to the child how the heating pad can be operated safely.
  5. This heating pad can be used by children of 8 years and older and by persons with limited physical. sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience or knowledge, provided they use the heating pad under supervision or have been instructed about its safe use and understand the hazards it may involve.
  6. Children must not play with the heating pad.
  7. The appliance may not be cleaned or maintained by children, unless this is done under supervision.
  8. This heating pad is not intended for use in hospitals.
  9. The appliance is only intended for use at home/private use and not for commercial ends.
  10. Do not stick needles in the heating pad!
  11. Do not use the heating pad when it is folded or crumpled.
  12. Do not use the heating pad when it is wet.
  13. Only use this heating pad in combination with the switch indicated on the label.
  14. Under certain conditions, the electric and magnetic fields transmitted by this heating pad could affect the operation of your pacemaker. However. the radiation values are far below the limit values: electric field strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.7 milli tesla. Therefore, contact your physician or the manufacturer of your pacemaker prior to using this heating pad.
  15. Do not pull the cords, do not twist them and also do not fold hem under sharp angles.
  16. Regularly check the heating pad for signs of wear and tear or damage. If there are signs of wear and tear or damage, or if the heating pad has not been used as intended, or the pad no longer gets warm, have the heating pad checked by the manufacturer prior to use.
  17. Do not open the appliance or repair it yourself under any circumstances. If you do. a fault-free operation can no longer be guaranteed. If you do not observe this instruction. the warranty will become invalid.
  18. If the power cord of the appliance is damaged. it should be removed. If it is not possible to disconnect the power cord from the appliance. the entire appliance should be disposed of.
  19. When this heating pad is switched on. no sharp object may be placed on it. no heat sources such as hot water bottles, heating pads. etc.. should be placed on it.
  20. The electronic components in the switch become warm when using the heating pad. When switched on. the switch may not be covered or placed on the heating pad.
  21. Observe the instructions in the following chapters at all times: Use, Cleaning & Maintenance. Storage.

PRESCRIBED USE

The heating pad is only intended for heating the human body.

SAFETY

  • The heating pad has been provided with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology prevents overheating of the heating pad on the entire surface through automatic deactivation in case of breakdowns. When the SAFETY SYSTEM has switched off the heating pad, the temperature levels in in activated condition are no longer lighted.
  • Do note that for reasons of safety the heating pad can no longer be used after a breakdown and should be sent to the indicated service address.
  • Never connect the faulty heating pad to a different switch of the same type. This would also ensure a final deactivation through the safety system in the switch.

USE

Make sure the heating pad does not fold or crumple during use.

  • First connect the switch to the connection point in the heating pad by connecting the plug.
  • Then insert the plug in the socket.

SWITCHING ON

Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the heating pad. The display switches on – position l – deactivation time 90 minutes. To set the required heating position, press the + button. To lower the required heating position. press the – button.

SETTING THE HEATING POSITION

  • Position l: minimum heating – suitable for long-term use
  • Positions 2-5: separately adjustable heating
  • Position 6: maximum heating

The heating pad heats up the fastest when you first switch on a higher temperature position. The heating pad has been provided with turbo heating, which ensures quick heating within the first 70 minutes. If the heating pad is used for several hours, we recommend setting the lowest heating position (position 7) to prevent the user’s body part to be heated from overheating and prevent possible resulting burns.

AUTOMATIC DEACTIVATION FUNCTION

This heating pad has been provided with an automatic deactivation function. This means that the supply of heat is stopped approx. 30. 60 or 90 minutes after the heating pad was activated. Repeatedly press the TIMER button to set the automatic deactivation at the required time – 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Once the set time has expired, the heating pad is switched off. The display is off. To be able to use the heating pad again, the ON/OFF button should be pressed first in order to switch on the heating pad. Select the required heating position and deactivation time.

SWITCHING OFF

Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the heating pad. The display no longer lights up.
If the heating pad is not used for a number of days, you must switch it off with the ON/OFF button and remove the plug from the socket. Then disconnect the switch from the heating pad by removing the plug.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the heating pad. always remove the plug from the socket. Otherwise you will run the risk of an electric shock. Then disconnect the switch from the heating pad by removing the plug and let it cool down for at least ten minutes. Otherwise the heating pad could get damaged.

  • The switch may never come into contact with water or other liquids. It could get damaged as a result. Use a dry lint-free cloth for cleaning the switch. Do not use chemical cleaning agents or abrasives. Small stains on the heating pad can be removed with a cloth or a damp sponge and, if necessary, a little bit of gentle detergent liquid.

  • The heating pad should not be dry cleaned, spun, dried in the machine, mangled or ironed. In case of a stronger level of contamination, the heating pad can be washed in the washing machine. Set the°
    washing machine to a 30 C programme (wool programme). Out of environmental considerations. we recommend washing the heating pad at the same time as other items. Use a gentle detergent in accordance with the manufacturer’s dosing instructions.

  • Please note, the heating pad will wear if washed too often. The heating pad may therefore be machine­ washed for a maximum of l to 2 times per year. Immediately after washing, pull the heating pad in its original size and form while still wet. and leave it lying flat on a drying rack.

  • Do not use pegs or other clamps to attach the heating pad to the drying rack. Otherwise the heating pad could get damaged.

  • Only connect the switch to the heating pad when the plug connection and pad are fully dry. Otherwise the heating pad could get damaged.

  • Never switch on the heating pad in order to dry it in this way1 You will run the risk of an electric shock.

STORAGE

If you do not use the heating pad for a longer period of time, we recommend storing it in its original packaging. For this, remove the plug of the switch from the connection of the heating pad. Allow the heating pad to cool down first. before storing it. Otherwise the heating pad could get damaged. During storage, do not place objects on the heating pad in order to prevent sharp kinks in the wiring.

This symbol means that this product should not be disposed of with regular household waste (2012/19/EU). Observe the rules that apply in your country for the separated collection of electric and electronic products. Correct disposal of the product prevents negative consequences for the environment and for public health. The packaging material of this product can be recycled 100%. return packaging material separately.
