WARNING
To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always turn power OFF at the service panel before installing this unit, working on the circuit, or changing a lamp.

FRAME MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: Unit to be installed on finished wall, with a thickness of 1/8″ to 1-1/16″.
Be sure there are no obstructions behind wall surface, such as wall studs.
Includes:

• Frame with End-Caps
• Brush Insert
• Decorator Wall Plate
• M118W Metal Old Work Box
• Surge Protective Outlet

1. Place Frame facing wall in desired location and mark wall through slots provided. Make sure there are no obstructions behind wall before cutting.

2. Connect the marks and cut out wall surface. Cut Out Dimensions: 4-1/8″ x 6-3/8″.

3. Place Brush insert into opening B.
   A) Line Voltage.
   Use appropriate installation instruction.
   B) Low Voltage Only.

4. Pull Low Voltage cable(s) through Brush Insert in opening B and Line Voltage cable(s) through opening A.

5. Place Frame into cutout. Turn screws clockwise.
   Tighten until snug against wall.

6. Insert end-cap tabs and firmly push to snap on.
   Note: To remove end-caps, insert small flat screwdriver into each notch and gently pry off. Seefigure 1.

LINE VOLTAGE INSTALLATION:

1. Insert nonmetallic cable through D-shaped pry out and under metal cable clamp in M118W metal old work box.

2. Pull cable through to the desired length and tighten cable clamp screw.
   Wrap ground wire around preinstalled ground screw and tighten screw.

3. Insert electrical box into Frame opening with the swing brackets flat to the box and turn screws clockwise until snug to frame.

4. Install surge protective outlet per instructions.

5. Install UL listed wall plate to complete installation.
   Note: Max wall plate dimensions: 4-7/8” x 3” (Recommended: P&S TP wall plates).
