Product Usage Instructions

I. Product Structure

The product consists of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit.

II. Functions of Indoor Unit

The indoor unit has the following functions:

• Video display
• Audio communication
• Intercom between screens

III. Wiring Schematics

The wiring schematics for the product are as follows:

IV. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to install the product:

1. Determine the Location and Height for Installing

The reference height is 145-160cm from the camera center to the ground. Avoid installing the outdoor unit in a place with strong direct sunlight.

2. Groove the Wall and Embed the Power Cord

Use a percussion drill to groove the wall with a depth of about 3 cm. Embed the required power cord.

3. Route the Power Cable through the Built-in Bottom Box

Route the power cable through the built-in bottom box of the outdoor unit.

4. Fix the Bottom Box on the Wall Slot Position

A rrange and finish the power cord and fix the bottom box on the wall slot position.

5. Connect Power Cable to Wiring Terminals on the Back of Outdoor Unit

Correctly connect the power cable to the wiring terminals on the back of the outdoor unit. Buckle the outdoor unit into the bottom box that has been fixed on the wall.

6. Fix Outdoor Unit and Bottom Box with Screws

Fix the outdoor unit and bottom box with screws, and seal the periphery of the outdoor unit with sealant.

V. Wiring Requirements

Follow these wiring requirements:

A. Extension Cable Parameter Requirements

• 1-30 Meter: R V V4*0.30
• 31-50 Meter: R V V4*0.50
• 51-100 Meter: R V V4*1.0

B. Separate Wiring from AC

Follow these guidelines for separate wiring from AC:

1. It’s not allowed to arrange power supply wiring and AC or other high-frequency wire in the same conduit, and the spacing distance shall be larger than 60cm.
2. The power supply wire for the indoor unit may be laid with intercom wiring in the same conduit.
3. Suggestion: Use Rvv wire or Cat5/6 network cable connection (2 cores make 1 core connection).

Matters needing attention

• a.Test before installation
  Open the package, check whether the accessories are complete, use the original test cable for the outdoor unit and indoor unit, whether it work normally, and then install.
  Note: The wiring must be strictly in accordance with the connection diagram of the manual, otherwise the function not be used normally, or even damage the equipment; please refer to the purchased access control power supply manual for the use of the access control power supply, which is not included in the set.

• b.Maintenance

1. Don’t use it with any product not produced by our company;
2. Users shall follow the user manual strictly to install and test the product. Please call our company for technical support if you have any questions.

Functions of indoor unit

1. The power supply on the indoor unit of this product is DC15 V 1.2 A, and its outdoor unit doesn’t need a separate power source；
2. Outdoor unit cable connection→The wiring sequence is from left to right：Red（Power）→Black（GND） → Blue（Audio）→Yellow（Video）（Figure 2 , Figure 3）；
3. The product runs normally and the blue standby indicator on the front of the outdoor unit remains on after the power supply is connected（Figure 1 ）；6
4. Press any call button, so the red and green call/monitoring status indicator is lit up 5 12（Figure 1， Figure 1 ）, and the display is also lit up meanwhile， hang up after talkback, and then the call/monitoring indicator is off；
5. Press the unlocking key of the indoor unit, “ ”so green unlocking status indicator of the outdoor device flashes for one time（Figure 1 ）；
6. No more than 4 screens can be connected to the indoor unit in series. Indoor units in series can talk to each other. The cable length of two cores merging to one core can reach 200 m if the network cable of Unshielded Twisted Pair is used

Note： As a calling line, the Call line can not be connected if one indoor unit is just required or talkback isn’t needed between screens.

Installation Instructions

1. Determine the location and height for installation; the reference height is 145-160cm from the Camera center toground;

2. It’s required to avoid installing the outdoor unit at any place with strong direct sunlight;

3. Locate the position and groove the wall with a percussion drill, with a depth of about 3 cm;

4. Embed the required power cord.

5. Correctly connect the power cable to wiring terminals on the back of the outdoor unit;

6. Buckle the outdoor unit into the bottom box that has been fixed on the wall.

7. Route the power cable through the built-in bottom box of outdoor unit;

8. Arrange and finish power cord and fix the bottom box on the wall slot position;

9. Attach the box to the wall with expansion screws.

10. Fix the outdoor unit and bottom box with screws ;

11. Seal the periphery of the outdoor unit with sealant to ensure waterproof edges;

12. The installation is completed.

Floor/nameplate placement instructions

1. You can fill in floor / name plate and other information as you like.

1. Press down the middle area of the transparent part and slide right;
2. The transparent piece bounces, and remove the built-in transparent card and paper;
3. Fill in the information and put it back into the card slot to complete the operation.
