Setting Example

Setting Example

R/R1/R2 Closed

R/R1/R2 Open

L1/L2/L3 is referring to line-line voltage except for RM35UB3N30

Example 1: To set 3 phase voltage monitoring at 220VAC L-L +/-12 %, Asymmetry monitoring 5 %, Fault delay = 5 s using RM17TE00

1| 2| 3| 4|
---|---|---|---|---
|

220V * 12% = 26.4V >U: 220V + 26.4 = 246.4V

|

Asy: 220V * 5% = 11V

| | Hysteresis (H): >U/

H = 2% V: 220V * 2% = 4.4V

Setting Example Setting Example

Example 2: To set 3 phase voltage monitoring at 415VAC L-L, >U at 18 %, <U at 16 %, On delay = 5 s using RM22TR33

1| 2| 3| 4|
---|---|---|---|---
|

415V * 18% = 74.7V

U: 415V + 74.7 = 489.7V

|

415V * 16% = 66.4V
<U: 415V – 66.4 = 348.6V

| | **Hysteresis (H):

U/<U*H = 2% V:
415V
2% = 8.3V

Setting Example Setting Example

Example 3: To set 3 phase voltage monitoring at 220VAC L-N,>U at 18 %, U Fault delay = 12 s, <U Fault delay = 9 s using RM35UB3N30

1| 2| 3| 4|
---|---|---|---|---
|

220V * 18% = 39.6V

U: 220V + 39.6 = 259.6V

|

220V * 16% = 35.2V
<U: 220V – 35.2V = 184.8V

| | **Hysteresis (H):

U/<U*H = 2%
V: 220V
2% = 4.4V

Setting Change & Reset
If the voltage range selection switch position is changed while the device is operating, all the LEDs will blink, but the product continues to operate with the voltage selection preceding the change of position. The product has to be powered off and on again for the new selection to take effect. All LED’s return to their normal state if the switch is returned to the original position.
