[Video Key]
Short press – To Start/End recording in standby mode.

Quick To Use

> Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera, and press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the camera.

Video
After the camera is turned on, in the standby preview state, short press the “record button” to start recording, press the record button again to stop recording during the recording process, and the video file is automatically saved. During the video shooting process, short press the “Down key”, and the key symbol appears on the right side of the display screen, which is to mark the key file. The marked video will not be automatically overwritten when the loop recording is turned on. When the recording stops, the marked Cancel automatically.
> Take Pictures
After the camera is turned on, in the standby preview state, short press the camera button to take pictures. In the dark environment at night, you need to turn on the camera’s infrared light or LED white light to take pictures. Press the camera button to take a snapshot during video recording.
> Recording
In the standby preview state, short press the recording button to record. In the recording state, the screen will display the recording interface and the recording time at the same time.
> Silent Mode
In silent mode, the camera beep and indicator light are turned off.
> Infrared Function
Short press the up button to manually turn on/off the infrared light. Generally, when the external light is dim, the infrared light can be turned on. In the infrared mode, the screen is black and white, which is a normal phenomenon. At the same time, the camera supports automatic switching of infrared night vision function, which needs to be set in the menu.
> Motion Detection
When there is a moving object within the shooting range of the camera, the camera will automatically start recording and save it.
> Key marks
During the video shooting process, short press the down key, the key symbol will appear on the right side of the display, and the marked video will not be automatically deleted when the loop recording is turned on.
> Password Protection
When the password protection is turned on, when the camera is connected to the computer/enters the setting menu/plays back on the camera, the camera display will prompt to enter the password. If the password is entered incorrectly, the disk cannot be read/enter the setting menu to modify parameters/playback cannot be viewed.
> Continuous Shooting
Continuous shooting means that in the standby state, press the camera button once, the camera can take multiple photos continuously, and in the off state, it means no continuous shooting, and only one photo is taken.
> Video Segmentation
Video segmentation means that during the video recording process, the camera will automatically save it as a file every time it is recorded to ensure the safety of the file.
> Playback
In standby mode, short press the playback button, the camera enters the playback interface.
> Red and Blue Alarm Lights
Short press the light button to turn on the camera alarm light, and the red and blue lights can display the warning function.
> H.265 Support
The camera supports the H.265 encoding method. When the H.265 encoding method is selected, the video file is further compressed while ensuring the clarity, and the same memory can save more content.

Parameter Settings

The menu setting can set the system parameters. In the standby state, short press the menu button to enter the setting menu, and use the ” up/down” button to select the item. After adjusting the item to be set, press the OK button to enter the parameter selection.

> Video Resolution
There are 1296P/1080P/720P/480P options for resolution. The larger the value, the larger the file, and the shorter the recording time with the same memory and power. > Video Duration
Video segmentation means: when recording, the video is automatically saved as a file with the set time segment. > Loop recording
When the camera memory is full, the camera will automatically delete the first recorded video clip; in the closed state, when the camera is full, the system will prompt that the memory is insufficient.

> Quality
The better the image quality, the more memory the file takes up. > Video prerecord
When it is turned on, the camera is in the pre-recording state. The recording icon in the upper left corner of the screen will display red and the recording will automatically stop updating the timing after 30 seconds. Short press “recording” and the timing will continue. At this time, the recording file will include pressing the “recording button” The latest 30 seconds of previous content. > Post-Record
In the open state, after the camera stops recording, it will continue to record for the length of time set. > Motion Detection
When the motion detection is turned on, the camera will automatically start shooting when there is a moving object within the shooting range of the camera. When no moving object continues to enter the shooting range, the camera will automatically standby. > Record Audio

There are two options for light source frequency, 50HZ and 60HZ. Choose according to the appropriate current frequency. > Date/Time
Enter the time setting, use the up and down keys to increase or decrease the number, and check the time and date. > Police ID
Police ID can set the six-digit number of the user ID, use the up/down keys to adjust the size of the number, and the set police ID is displayed at the bottom of the screen interface. > Device ID
The device ID can set the number of the camera, use the up/down keys to adjust the size of the number, and the set device ID is displayed at the bottom of the screen interface. > Password protect
When the password protection is set to on, the password is required to be entered when setting the menu and connecting to the computer. The default password is 0000000. > Password
When changing the device password, you need to enter the old password first. The default password is 000000.
Use the up/down keys to adjust the size of the number.
Be sure to remember the password. If you forget the password, you will not be able to reset it. You need to contact the manufacturer for processing. > Default Setting
Restore all parameter information of the camera to the factory default settings. > Format
It is used to format the internal storage of the machine.
After selecting Confirm, all internal data will be cleared.
Please make sure that there is no important data in the camera before formatting. The data cannot be recovered after clearing. Formatting cannot be performed when the password protection option is on! > Version
Here you can view the current version information of the recorder.

Data Transmission

After the password protection is turned on and the camera is turned on, use the USB data cable to connect the camera to the computer. The left interface will pop up on the camera display screen. Enter the initial password 0000000 to enter the camera’s U disk, and find the removable disk in the computer. The camera defaults to turning off password protection. Connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable. The interface on the left will pop up on the camera display.
Find the removable disk in your computer. After entering the U disk, open the folder shown on the left, Novatek contains movie/ /Photo corresponds to the video file/photo file respectively, and the WAV folder is the recording file.
