LED Indicator

White LED indicator is lighting: Printer is turned on.

Green LED indicator is lighting: Printer is in charging mode, and green LED indicator will be off when fully charged.

Red LED indicator is flashing: Printer cover is opened.

Print Self-test Page

In the turned on state, loading the thermal paper, press the power button 3 times to print a self-test page of the printer.

Power On

Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the printer.

To turn off the printer, also hold down the power button for 3 seconds.

Paper Loading

Put the thermal paper into the paper inlet in parallel with the thermal side down.
The printer will feed a distance automatically after detecting the paper.

  1. Thermal Side Down

Note: If the buzzer sounds once when paper feeding stops, it shows that the paper is loaded successfully. If the buzzer keeps beeping and the red LED is flashing, please open the cover and reload the paper.

Printing from Mobile Phone

1. APP Download
Scan the QR code to download the APP.

2. Connect with the printer

(1) Open App, click “Connect printer”, and “Connect” with “HPRT MT866-XXXX”(XXXX are last four digits of Bluetooth address);
(2) If the APP can’t find the printer, please open “Settings”-“Bluetooth” on your phone and connect with the printer first, and then return to APP and click “Connect”.

3. Print

(1) Open the document you want to print, and copy/share it to APP. (Or click “Documents” on Home to choose the document.)
(2) Adjust it in Print preview, and click “Print” to print it.

Printing from Computer

  1. Connect one side of the USB cable to the computer and the other side to the printer;
  2. Turn on the printer;
  3. Download the printer driver from the website: www.hprt.com/HPRT-MT866 And then install it on the computer;
  4. Choose the document you want to print and print it via printer “HPRT MT866”.
Battery Charging

When the printer is in low power, the green LED indicator will flash. Please use matching USB cable to charge in time. If you continue printing, the printer may shut down automatically.

Precautions

  1. The best operating temperature is 0°C~40°C, if the environmental temperature is too low or too high, the print quality may be affected.
  2. Please do not use the unofficial paper to ensure the print quality.
  3. During printing, the area around the print head is very hot. Do not touch it to avoid burns.
  4. Do not pull out paper by force during printing, or else it may damage the printer.
