Save these instructions.
Serious injury or death can result if the safety instructions are not
followed. Everyone who operates the breaker must read and fully understand all
safety rules, operating instructions and maintenance instructions and service
instructions. You must be 16 years of age or older to operate this machine.
Keep untrained persons away.
- Turn the engine off before leaving the breaker unattended.
Crushing hazard.
The wedge can cut skin and break bones. Keep both hands away from the wedge
and end plate.
- Serious accidents can occur when other people are allowed inside the working area. Keep all others out of the work area while operating the control valve.
- Do not wear loose clothing. Can become entangled in moving parts of the breaker.
- Only use the log splitter in daylight so you can see what you are doing.
Flying objects.
Pieces of logs can fly off while splitting. Wear safety glasses. Serious eye
injury may occur.
Skin injection hazard.
High-pressure fluid can be injected under the skin and cause serious injury,
including amputation.
- Make sure all connections are tight before applying pressure. Relieve system pressure before servicing.
- Do not check for leaks by hand. Instead, use a piece of cardboard to check for leaks.
- If a cut injury occurs, seek professional help immediately
Risk of fire and explosion.
Hot exhaust gases from the engine can cause a fire. Gasoline is highly
flammable and explosive. You can be burned or seriously injured when handling
fuel.

Place the muffler at least 2 metres away from combustible objects.

Before adding fuel, stop the engine and keep heat, sparks and flames away.
Do not add fuel when the engine is running or still hot. Do not smoke near the engine. -
Do not pump fuel directly into the engine at the service station. Static charge can build up and ignite the fuel.
Use a UL approved fuel container to transfer gas to the engine. Clean up fuel spills immediately. -
Only store and handle fuel outdoors. Gasoline vapors can ignite if they accumulate inside an enclosure. Explosion may occur.

Do not change or add to exhaust systems. Fire may result.

Do not change or add to fuel tanks or fuel lines. Fire may result.

Before each use, check fuel tank and fuel lines for leaks. Any fuel leak is a fire hazard. Repair any fuel leaks before starting the engine.

During transport, take precautions to ensure that the machine does not tip over and cause a fire hazard from leaking fuel.
ABOUT YOUR 22 TON LOG SPLITTER
This hydraulic log splitter has a heavy-duty steel construction and 22 tons of pushing force. When there’s work to be done, you need outdoor power equipment you can rely on, this log splitter will get the job done quickly. It is designed to work in the upright position only. It’s easy to tow, easy to use and easy to maintain. Never exceed the rated capacity of 22 tons when operating the log splitter.

Lift stand release handle C: Pushing down this han le can release the chain hook of the lift stand No.16, then the lift stand No.16 can be lowered.
NOTE: You only need to push down this handle shortly. There is no need to push it further when the hook is released. -
Split control handle A: Push down together with split control handle No.12 B can lower the wdge to split the log, and push up this handle can lift the wedge and lifting bracket No.16 together.
NOTE: Pushing up this handle can only lift the wedge if you have not knocked down the lifting bracket No.16 -

When adding oil, check the oil level using the oil filter/dipstick on the top

Assembly instructions
STEP 1: Wheel assembly
Secure the wheels (#4) to the wheel bracket with a flat washer Ø20 (#6), a
thin hex nut M20x1.5 (#8) and a cotter pin Ø4×36 (#5).
Install the shaft cap (#7) on the end with a rubber hammer.
NOTE: Use a black plastic bushing to secure the shaft cap (#7) as shown
in the picture below. Cover the black bushing on the axle cap, and use a
rubber/wood hammer to tap the end of the plastic bushing and secure the axle
cap to the wheel.
STEP 2: Attach Tow Bar and Fender
- Attach the tow bar (#2) to the hydraulic tank with the M12x35 (#35) hex bolt, Ø12 (#20) flat washer and M12 (#25) hex lock nut.
- Secure the mudguards (# 89 and # 90) to the hydraulic tank with the hexagonal bolt M8x25 (# 69), the flat washer Ø8 (# 37), the lock washer Ø8 (# 57) and the hexagonal lock nut M8 (# 38). Fix the rubber washer (# 131) between the mudguard and the hydraulic tank.
STEP 3: Attach the Beam and Hand Container
- Attach the beam to the tow bar using the hitch pin (#50) and the R-pin (#71).
- Attach the rear support leg (#85) to the tow bar using the M10x70 hex bolt (#137) and M10 hex lock nut (#114). When standing, secure the beam with a pull-out handle (#82) and R-pin (#71).
- Remove M6x65 hex bolt (#104), large flat washer Ø6 (#105) and M6 nylon lock nut (#102) from tow bar, secure hand pan (#101) to tow bar with items #104, #105 and #102.
- Attach three plastic handles (#14) to the control handle and two plastic handles (#14) to the beam control valve mounting plate with the M10 hex lock nut (#114)
STEP 4: Connect the motor and oil line
- Attach the motor (#11) to the wheel bracket using a polyurethane block (#12) and a large flat washer Ø10 (#58), hex bolt M8x65 (#36), flat washer Ø8 (#37), lock washer Ø8 (#57), hex lock nut M8 (#38).
- Connect the clear oil tube (# 43) to the gear pump oil inlet fitting, positioning it with a clamp (# 44).
- Connect the high pressure oil tube (#39) to the gear pump oil outlet connector, sealing with the Ø11.2×2.4 O-ring (#32).
- Connect the hydraulic hose (No. 42) to the hydraulic tank connector, sealing with O-ring Ø11.2×2.4 (No. 32).
Note: Tighten the hydraulic hose connector to a torque of 80-90N – m. Adjust the hydraulic hose to an unkinked state and the connector must be in a vertical position.Dispose of your machine in an environmentally friendly manner. Machines should not be disposed of with household waste. Their plastic and metal components can be sorted according to their nature and recycled.
STEP 5: Electrical Break Switch
- Connect the wires from the motor and the electrical break switch with a quick connector
STEP 6: Attach the Log Base
- Attach the log cradle (#53) to the beam using the M10x35 hex bolt (#129) and M10 hex lock nut (#114). The tightness is adequate for the rotation of the log cradle.
STEP 7: Add engine oil

Make sure the log splitter is on a level surface.

Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick to add oil.

Refer to the separate owner’s engine manual for the required amount of SAE10W-30 engine oil; replace the oil filler cap
dipstick. -
Check the engine oil level daily and add as necessary.
NOTE: During the break-in period, check the engine oil level frequently.

DO NOT attempt to start or run the engine before it has been correctly filled

STEP 8: Add fuel to the engine

Use only clean, fresh, regular unleaded fuel with a minimum 86 octane rating.

Remove the fuel cap and slowly add fuel to the tank. DO NOT overfill, leave approximately ¼ inch of space for fuel expansion.

Screw on the fuel cap and wipe up any spilled fuel.
DANGER
Log splitter engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a colourless, odourless,
poisonous gas. Breathing carbon
monoxide will cause nausea, dizziness, fainting or death. If you begin to feel
dizzy or faint, get fresh air immediately. Operate the log splitter outdoors
only in a well-ventilated area. DO NOT operate the log splitter inside any
building, enclosure or compartment.
DO NOT allow exhaust fumes to enter a confined area through windows, doors,
vents or other openings. CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD, using a log splitter indoors
CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES.
DANGER
Fuel and fuel vapours are highly flammable and extremely explosive. Fire or
explosion can cause severe burns or death. Unintentional starting can cause
entanglement, traumatic amputations or lacerations. Use only regular unleaded
gasoline with a minimum 86 octane rating. DO NOT mix oil and gasoline
together. Fill the tank approximately ¼” below the top of the tank to allow
for fuel expansion. DO NOT fill the fuel tank indoors or when the engine is
running or hot. DO NOT light cigarettes or smoke when filling the fuel tank.
STEP 9: Add Hydraulic Oil
- The log splitter must be on a flat, level surface before adding hydraulic oil.
- Remove the oil cap from the hydraulic reservoir.
- Add 3 gallons of hydraulic oil AW32, AW46 and universal hydraulic oil are all acceptable types of fluid. Automatic transmission fluid should be used when operating at temperatures below 32 degrees (all units are tested and have excess oil on the piston).
- Check hydraulic oil level.
- Start the engine and use the control lever to extend and retract the wedge several times to remove air from the lines.
- With the wedge retracted, recheck the hydraulic oil level and top up if necessary
WARNING
DO NOT remove the hydraulic oil filler cap when the engine is running or hot.
Hot oil can escape and cause severe burns. Always allow the log splitter to
cool completely before removing the hydraulic oil cap.
WARNING
High fluid pressures and temperatures are created in hydraulic log splitters.
Hydraulic fluid will escape through a pinhole opening and can puncture the
skin and cause severe blood poisoning.
WARNING
Inspect the hydraulic system regularly for leaks. Never check for leaks by
hand while the system is pressurised. Seek medical attention immediately if
you are injured by leaking fluid.
WARNING
Make sure all fittings are tight and secure before applying pressure. Relieve
system pressure before servicing.
WARNING
Ensure that hydraulic hoses do not touch hot surfaces or cutting areas.

Hoses must be attached if they are clear of the engine and cutting wedge. To
avoid serious personal injury, always inspect hoses before operating the log
splitter.
Operating instructions
DANGER
Before operating or using the log splitter, review the instructions below and
all safety information.

Using your distributor
STEP 1: Press split control handle A and split control handle B at the
same time, and grasp the lift bracket release handle C

- ONLY use the log splitter for splitting logs, length with grain.
- NEVER modify, alter or change the log splitter in any way, modifications will void the warranty.
- NEVER connect a cord, cable or other device to the control lever on the log splitter. ONLY operate the log splitter in daylight.
- NEVER leave the log splitter unattended while the engine is running.
- DO NOT change the splitting position with the engine running. Contact with the muffler can cause severe burns.
- ALWAYS make sure the beam is in the locked position.
- DO NOT drop the beam as it could crush fingers or damage the log splitter.
- NEVER operate, or allow anyone else to operate, the log splitter under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
- DO NOT put your feet in the range of the wedge activity during operation.
- STOP the engine if the wood catches the wedge and cannot be split or if the wood follows the wedge upwards.
- DO NOT go near the lifting stand when moving.
- DO NOT carry passengers, sit or stand on the log splitter at any time.
- Check the hydraulic oil level and visually inspect all hoses and fittings for problems.
- Inspect the engine and ensure that the engine oil level is correct.
- Before towing the log splitter, the tyres must be fully inflated.
- Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual for proper safety and towing instructions.
TYRE WARNING
DO NOT over-inflate tyres. Serious injury can result if tyres explode.
DO NOT tow log splitter if tyres are worn or do not hold air.
DO NOT exceed the maximum towing speed of 45 MPH.
TOWING WARNING
• Serious injury or death can result if towing safety rules are not followed.
• Always check the ball coupler and wheels to make sure all hardware is secure
before towing.
• Before towing, check from a long distance to make sure axle nuts and pins
are tight and in place.
• Always use safety chains, secure and lock the log splitter to the vehicle
hitch before moving.
• Drive safely. Be aware of the added length of the log splitter.
• Never exceed the maximum travel speed of 45 mph.
• Never mount or carry cargo on the log splitter.
• Turn off the vehicle before leaving the log splitter unattended.
• Block the log splitter wheels to prevent unintentional movement.
The log splitter must have at least seven feet of clearance from combustible
material.
It must be on a dry, level surface with good footing. Do not work on mud, ice,
brush or snow. When using the log splitter, the work area must be maintained
at all times.
NOTE: Serious accidents can occur when others are allowed to enter the work area. Keep all others out of the work area while operating the control lever.
WARNING
Always wear safety equipment, eye protection, gloves and work boots when
operating the log splitter.
STEP 4: Start the engine and make sure the log splitter is level before
operating.
NOTE: The hydraulic oil must be above 10°F (-12°C) before starting the
engine. Cold hydraulic oil can damage the hydraulic pump. If the outside air
temperature is below 32°F (0°C), allow the log splitter to warm up by
extending and returning the wedge several times before splitting wood.
STEP 5: Place both support legs in the down position to prevent the log
splitter from moving during operation and lock both wheels.
STEP 6: Load a log on the beam against the end plate (Maximum log
length-25”).
WARNING
- Ensure hands are clear of wedge and crushing hazard areas.

CAUTION
- If a log becomes stuck, wedged or does not split completely, push the control lever in the reverse direction and allow the splitter to remove the log from the wedge.
- Reverse direction and allow the splitter to remove the log from the wedge.
- If the log is still jammed, embedded or does not split, turn off the machine and use a hammer and bar to remove the log.

FOR VEHICLE TOWING
When the vehicle is towing, pull the registration base back in the direction
of the arrow, and glue the spring pin. Stick the spring pin in when using it.
When towing the vehicle, pull the lifting bracket back in the direction of the
arrow and stick the spring pin. Loosen the spring pin when in use. Simply
separate the lift bracket from the pin hole.
Maintenance and storage
WARNING
After servicing, ensure that all guards, shields and safety features are put
back in place. Failure to comply with this warning can result in serious
injury. Improper maintenance and storage of the log splitter may void the
warranty.
MANTINANCE
- Before servicing, the log splitter must be placed in maintenance mode. Shut off the engine and move the control lever back and forth to relieve hydraulic pressure.
- After performing any maintenance, ensure that all guards, shields and safety features are put back in place before operating the log splitter.
- Before operating, ensure that the tyres have the RECOMMENDED TYRE PRESSURE.
- Regularly grease the axle and wheel bearing area or when necessary.
- After greasing wheel bearings, make sure axle nuts and pins are in place and secure.
- Periodically check all fasteners and hoses for tightness and leaks.
- Clean and lubricate all moving parts annually or as needed.
- Use a gloss enamel spray paint to touch up scratched or worn painted metal surfaces.
- Never exceed the load capacity of 22 tons, it will damage the log splitter.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE
WARRANTY
The machine is guaranteed, according to the Spanish laws, exclusively for the
possible use of defective materials in its construction, or due to
manufacturing defects. The guarantee will apply according to its use and
during the following periods:

If the user is a natural person who acts for purposes unrelated to his trade, business, trade or profession (consumer): 3 years from the date of purchase.

If the user is a natural or legal person acting for purposes related to their trade, business, communities, trade or profession: 1 year from the date of purchase.
The warranty period for batteries as a power source will be 6 months. For any claim within the warranty period, the original purchase document must be provided stating the date of purchase of the machine and a photo of its plate.
The guarantee would not apply on the following cases: -
Normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, wear and tear on batteries, if present).

Normal wear of consumables, such as discs, wire, chains, bars, blades, belts, wheels…

Use of the product that does not comply with the instructions described in the manual

Defects caused by rough, inappropriate, incorrect operation or handling or by use or damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, fire, water, lightning or other natural disasters.

Lack or inadequate, as the case may be, installation, care, maintenance of the product

Aggressive environmental influences (such as chemicals, cleaning agents), limescale or interruptions due to ice, among others.

Specific environmental circumstances (for example, excessive or negative pressure in the line, excessive tension or low tension in the line)
The warranty does not apply to accessories and other consumable items. The warranty will not be valid if the serial number of the product has been removed, erased, defaced or altered, or if it is illegible in any way as determined by the Service Center.
