Product Usage Instructions

  • Step 1: Preparation
Before installing the standard flush mount rod holders, make sure you have the necessary tools and equipment:

    • Drill
    • Drill bits (appropriate size for the mounting holes)
    • Screwdriver
  • Step 2: Choosing the Mounting Location
Select a suitable location on your boat where you want to install the rod holder. Ensure that it is easily accessible and provides a secure and stable position for your fishing rod.

  • Step 3: Marking and Drilling Holes
Use a marker or pencil to mark the positions for the mounting holes. The number of mounting holes may vary depending on the model. Refer to the product diagram for specific hole placement.
Once marked, use a drill with an appropriate bit size to create the mounting holes. Make sure to drill straight and avoid damaging any internal components of your boat.

  • Step 4: Mounting the Rod Holder
Align the mounting holes on the rod holder with the holes on your boat. Insert the screws provided into the holes and tighten them securely using a screwdriver.
Ensure that the rod holder is firmly attached to your boat and does not move or wobble. Test the stability by gently applying pressure to the holder in different directions.

  • Step 5: Testing and Adjusting
Insert your fishing rod into the rod holder and check if it fits properly. Adjust the angle or position of the rod holder if needed to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for your fishing rod.
You can also swivel the swivel-type rod holders to adjust the direction of your fishing rod.

  • Step 6: Maintenance
Regularly inspect the rod holders for any signs of damage or wear. Clean them with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Lubricate any moving parts to ensure smooth operation.
It is also recommended to remove the rod holders during periods of extended non-use or when storing your boat to prevent damage.
