Firmware Updates
It has come to our attention that TP-Link hardware may display a warning
when updating the firmware. This warning states that you will be unable to
downgrade to the previous firmware version after updating. This indicates that
TP-Link is locking down the firmware from third-party modifications.
IMPORTANT: To avoid any potential issues, we recommend avoiding new stock firmware upgrades that contain this warning. This is to ensure that you will still be able to flash a third-party firmware in the future. Please note that this warning may only apply to North American stock firmware and not EU, IL, or Asian stock firmware. We are currently investigating further to confirm all the details.
Supported Devices
This product is compatible with a wide range of TP-Link devices. Please
refer to the TP-Link Supported Devices list for a comprehensive list of
supported devices.

Warning
As of December 2020 we have noticed that a lot of TP-Link Hardware is showing
a warning on their firmware updates: Note: You will be unable to downgrade to
the previous firmware version after updating this firmware.
It would appear that TP-Link is locking down the firmware from third party
firmware. As a precaution, we recommend avoiding any new stock firmware
upgrades that might contain this note as you may not be able to flash a third
party firmware again. Possibly even the stock build before that note too. This
might only apply to North American stock firmware and not EU or IL, or Asian
stock firmware. We have yet to confirm all the details.
