Introduction
This manual contains crucial information about safety, warranty, and care. Please read this manual carefully and instruct your children before using Highwaykick. For safety, it is necessary that only adults carry out the assembling of Highwaykick. Watch your children while assembling to avoid them choking on small parts included in the package. Highwaykick is just to be used by Children between the age of 1 to 5 and with a maximum body weight of 50 kg (110lbs).

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
– to avoid accidents – act upon following safety instructions

For safety, it is necessary that only adults carry out the assembling of Highwaykick.

Before your kid uses Highwaykick make sure that the seat and tread are clicked into place correctly.
Furthermore, make sure all wheels are fixed correctly and aren‘t showing signs of wear out. -
Make sure that your kid is wearing shoes with rubber soles, a helmet, and elbow-, wrist- and knee-protective.

Make sure that your kid is not driving in steep areas since moving too fast is increasing the risk of injuries.

Highwaykick is provided with a brake-spring brake system. To slow down step on the brake with your left or right foot.

As the brake is getting very hot please explain to your kid that direct contact after braking is dangerous and leads to burns, due to that your kid should not brake constantly.

Never move faster than 10 km/h (6,2 MPH).

Make sure your kid is not moving on streets or areas with traffic.

Always follow traffic rules and regulations in public areas.

Not more than 1 kid at a time is allowed to move with Highwaykick.

Never allow your kid to move at dawn or during nighttime.

After every use cleans your kickboard with a wet or watery textile, don‘t forget to clean and grease the bearings regularly.

Check all screws and tighten them at least every 3 weeks.

Highwaykick is not to be used on wet, oily, sandy, dirty, icy, rough, or bumpy pavement.

The force of the screw nuts and other fixing elements will loosen over time therefore they have to be controlled regularly.

Remove developed sharp edges to avoid injuries.

Make sure the product (Highwaykick) is used with caution since skill is required to avoid falls or collisions which could cause injury to the user and/or third parties. Make sure that your kid is not carrying out dangerous maneuvers. Manner of driving has to fit individual skills!

Do not change anything at Highwaykick otherwise, there is no warranty or guarantee for safety.
WARNING NOTICES – WARNING
- Same as riding a bicycle, skateboarding, or inline-skating, and even with the best driving conditions it is never fully hazard-free to move with Highwaykick and may lead to accidents.
- Always equip your kid with a certificated helmet while using Highwaykick. In the case of unsecured drops, there is a possibility of severe and deadly injuries.
- Moving at dawn, during nighttime, or while limited visibility conditions are dangerous and increase the risk of accidents and injuries.
- In wet weather, the risk of accidents and injuries is much greater.
- Please make sure your kid is never moving without protective gear, furthermore, it is recommended to wear noticeable and reflective clothes.
- Please pay attention to your fingers while using the adaption mechanism. Carelessness at changing from the Scoot to Ride mode of Highwaykick creates danger of bruises.
- Never leave your kids unattended or without wearing complete protective gear and adequate footwear while moving on Highwaykick. Also, make sure kids are not moving during nighttime or in traffic areas.
- Pay attention to the brake, it is getting hot during use.
- Highwaykick is only to be used by kids between 1 to 5 years and with a maximum body weight of 50 kg (110lbs).
- Always supervise your child while she is using the product Highwaykick.
- Do not use it on public highways, roads, or traffic.
CARE – WARRANTY
CARE – Do a regular check on all screws to make sure they are tightened
correctly. Also, check on wheels and change them if necessary. All spare parts
available are to be found in section 3 and on
www.scootandride.com. After every use of
Highwaykick, it should be cleaned with a wet or watery textile and undertook
an optical control. LIMITED WARRANTY – The product Highwaykick applies to
the minimum statutory warranty of the particular country on the material- and
production defects. During this time it is at SCOOT AND RIDE‘s discretion if
products are repaired or replaced. This warranty is not covering defects
originating in improper use such as incorrect assembling, careless handling,
or common wear out.
WARRANTY ADJUSTMENTS – The warranty claim is solely coming into effect
with proof of purchase. Due to that, it is absolutely nesseccary to keep your
receipt. In case of warranty claim SCOOT AND RIDE or the responsible dealer is
deciding if Highwaykick will be repaired or replaced.
