Velform® Body Hair Remover with pivoting head for total control. Ideal for ankles, underarms, knees, legs, and bikini. Carefully read this instruction manual and keep it in a safe place for future use.

Warnings

IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE THE DEVICE IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE IT CAN COME INTO CONTACT WITH WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. DO NOT IMMERSE THE DEVICE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

• Always keep your Velform® Body Hair Remover dry. Do not store it in a wet or damp place or near containers of water that it could fall into.

• Do not use your Velform® Body Hair Remover in the shower or bath. It is not waterproof. If the unit falls into water, do not touch it or use it again. Do not rinse the product under water.

• Switch off the device before cleaning it and after use.

• To avoid all risks, keep your Velform® Body Hair Remover switched off and remove the battery when not in use.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not dispose of the device in a fire.

• Do not use your Velform® Body Hair Remover on sensitive or irritated skin.

• If you have a previous illness of any kind, consult your doctor before using the device.

• Consult your doctor about any red patches or irritation that lasts for more than three days.

• Always check the device before using it.
  To avoid injury, do not use the device if it is damaged.

• Store the device in a cool, dry place.

• Do not insert the battery incorrectly or dispose of it in a fire. The battery could explode or leak.

• Dispose of old batteries in accordance with local regulations.

• Batteries that are not rechargeable should not be recharged.

• Remove the battery from the device if you do not plan to use it for an extended period of time.

• Always keep unused batteries in the original packaging and away from metal objects that could cause them to short-circuit.

• Do not allow children to play with batteries.

• Do not tamper with the product in any way. The device should be handled or repaired only by an authorized professional.

• This product should not be used by anyone (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or by people without adequate experience or knowledge unless they are supervised by someone responsible for their safety or are given instructions on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.

• Do not use the product for any purpose not recommended in this manual.

• Battery Installation
  – Runs on one 1.5 V AA battery.
  – Remove the blade by following the instructions in the “Changing the Head” section.
  – To open the battery compartment, slide the cover in the direction of the arrow.

– Insert the battery by matching the polarity markings in the compartment.
– Put the cover back in place and ensure it is firmly closed.
– Reattach the blade.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Getting Started
Before using the product for the first time, try it on a small, unexposed area of skin. If you notice any sensitivity or allergic reactions, discontinue use immediately. As with any razor or shaver, be very careful when using the device in sensitive areas.
FOR BEST RESULTS, use the device on clean skin with no residue from creams, lotions, oils, deodorants or any other product for topical use.

• If the blade shield is on the head, remove it before using the device (Picture 3). Press the ON/OFF button to switch the Velform® Body Hair Remover on and off (Picture 4). When the device is switched on, the built-in LED will light up. SELECTION OF THE MOST SUITABLE ACCESSORY HEAD PLATED IN 18 K GOLD (WITHOUT SHIELD OR TRIM COMB)

• For a closer shave, use the device without the guard for sensitive areas or any other accessory (Picture 5).
  GUARD FOR SENSITIVE AREAS

• Ideal for sensitive areas such as underarms and bikinis.
  Provides a close shave (Picture 6).
  NOTE: Underarm skin can be sensitive. Use the guard for sensitive areas and move the device gently on the skin.
  WITH TRIM COMB

• Ideal for trimming or shaving body hair. For 3 or 5 mm trimming (Picture 7).
  Accessories

REMOVING AND REPLACING THE GUARD FOR SENSITIVE AREAS

• Line up the tabs on the guard for sensitive areas with the tabs on the head of the Velform® Body Hair Remover (Picture 8).
• Press down on the head until it clicks into place (Picture 9).
• To remove the guard from the head, place your thumb in the centre of the head while raising the edge of the guard (Picture 10).

REMOVING AND REPLACING THE TRIM COMB

• Choose one of the trim combs supplied, place it on the head and make sure it is firmly attached (Picture 11).
• Place your thumb on the trim comb (Picture 12) and press down to separate the trim comb from the head (Picture 13).
• Lift the trim comb to remove it from the head.

CHANGING THE HEAD
For optimal results, we recommend changing the head every one to three months, based on the frequency of use or when the device does not provide the desired results.

• Remove any attachments. Place the blade shield on the head.
• When the blade shield is in place, press both sides of the head and pull it upward while holding it so it does not fall (Picture 14).
• Hold the new head by the sides and fit it onto the neck of the device. You will hear a click when it is in place.

NOTE: Ensure that the shaft (Picture 15) in the neck of the unit (under the head) is centred before inserting the new head. When the head is changed and the device is switched on, if the head does not move, remove it, switch on the device for a few seconds, switch it off and replace the head again.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

• Do not rinse the device under water or immerse it in water.
• The head of the Velform® Body Hair Remover is delicate. Handle it with care.
• Before storing the device or when using it again, make sure to clean the head with the brush supplied to remove any stray hairs.
• Store the device and accessories in a cool, dry place.

Quality Warranty

This product is covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects subject to the time periods stipulated by the legislation in force in each country. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from inadequate use, negligent commercial use, abnormal wear and tear, accidents or improper handling. Australia & New Zealand only This product has the benefit of certain Consumer Guarantees. These are prescribed by the Australian Consumer Law & the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 both of which provide protection for consumers. There is no express warranty for this product in Australia or New Zealand. The above paragraph refers to other countries.
  The WEEE Directive calls for all old or defective electrical and electronic products to be disposed of in a way that is safe for the environment. This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household waste. Contact the authorized organization in your area for information on the closest collection centre.
