Product Introduction

THE INSTALLATION PROCESS OF THIS PRODUCT  INVOLVES STRONG ELECTRICITY, AND THERE IS  A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.

Before installation, please confirm that the main switch of the household power supply is closed. The installation process of this product involves strong electricity. Please follow each step carefully. Please hire a qualified electrician to follow the code of electrical codes to ensure that all work complies with local national regulations to avoid personal injury or property damage or loss.

Zigbee Network Configuration

Add gateway

• The Zigbee switch must be used together with the Zigbee 3.0 gateway, and customers need to purchase the gateway separately
• If you already have a Zigbee smart gateway, please ignore the gateway networking steps and go directly to step 4 to add products

STEP 1

• Before adding the gateway, make sure the ZigBee gateway is online and put the device into quick configuration mode
• Open the smart life application, and find the device to be added in the “Smart life ” APP; (You can also click the “+1′ icon in the upper right corner to enter the add device interface and select the corresponding product to add)

STEP 2
• Please turn on the device and confirm that the light is blinking  quickly, select Wi-Fi and enter the password, then click Next

• If the indicator light is not flashing quickly, please  press and hold the first button for 6 seconds, and the indicator light will flash quickly

Remark:
Smart phone and device must connect to same Wi-Fi during setup mode. The device must be added to the account before it can be controlled remotely. After the device is successfully accessed, other users can obtain control of the product through the sharing function.

STEP 3
• Add devices, wait for device search for 1-3 minutes, click “Done” to complete the process.

• Note: If you cannot add devices, please move the gateway closer to a place where the router signal is better

STEP 4
• After successfully connecting to the network, you will see the smart gateway page, the list of required devices, and then select “Add Devices” to enter the setup mode. Then click “Add New Devices

STEP 1
• Long press the smart switch for 6 seconds, confirm that the indicator light flashes quickly, and wait for the device to search for 1-3 minutes. After the device is added successfully, click “Done’

STEP 2
After the connection is complete, enter the APP control main interface, and you can set your switch through the mobile phone.

WiFi Network Configuration

STEP 1
• After the user logs in, in the “Smart life” APP, find the device to be added to add;(You can also click the “+” icon in the upper right corner to enter the add device interface and select the  corresponding product to add)

STEP 2
• Please turn on the device and confirm that the light is blinking  quickly, select Wi-Fi and enter the password, then click Next

• Search for nearby devices and find the switch. It will take about I  minute to connect and configure the device. Please wait patiently. After successfully adding the device, click ” Done”.

• Note: If you cannot add devices, please move the  gateway closer to a place where the router signal  is better

STEP 4
After the connection is complete, enter the APP control  main interface, and you can set your switch through the  mobile phone.

Common Problem

The switch is not powered?
Smart switch products need Neutral line power supply.
If there is no neutral line at the installation site, the smart switch will not work.

Can’t connect to APP?
Please make sure that the mobile phone and the device (gateway) are in the same WI-Fi network.Enter the pairing mode after powering on the device to ensure that the device has a good signal to support communication.

How far can it be controlled?
Please ensure that the distance between this product and the Wi-Fi router or gateway does not exceed 25 meters. If a partition wall is used, the material and thickness of the wall will vary. According to actual condition, users can consider adjusting the location of Wi-Fi routers or gateways or adding Wi-Fi routers or gateways, to ensure normal product communication.

Will the smart switch work if the network is disconnected?
In the case of network disconnection, the status light will flash. At this point, all APP controls, smart settings, and other network functions will be disabled.However, local control will not be affected.
