1 Your mobile

1.1 Keys and connectors

The mobile phone has the following keys and connectors:

1.2 Getting started

To set up your phone:

1. Installing or removing the SIM card and microSDTM card:
   • Your phone already has a SIM card installed. If you need to change or remove your SIM card, follow the steps below:
   1. Use the provided SIM pin to open the SIM tray.
   2. To install SIM/microSDTM card, place the SIM/microSDTM card with the chip facing down into the SIM card tray and then slide it into its slot.
   3. To remove SIM/microSDTM card, push up on the chip side of the cards inside the SIM tray.
2. Charging the battery:
   • It is advised that you fully charge your battery before first use.
   • Connect the charger to your phone and an outlet.
   • Charging status is indicated by the percentage on screen while the phone is powered off. The percentage increases as the phone is charged.
3. Power your phone on/off:
   • To turn your phone on, press and hold the Power/Lock button until the screen turns on.
   • To turn your phone off, press both the Power/Lock button and Volume up button at the same time, then tap Power off on the screen when it appears.

Getting started

121 Set up
Installing or removing the SIM card and microSDTM card Your phone already has a SIM card installed. If you need to change or remove your SIM card, follow the steps below. Use the provided SIM pin to open the SIM tray. To install SIM/microSDTM card, place the SIM/microSDTM card with the chip facing down into the
SIM card tray and then slide it into its slot. To remove SIM/microSDTM card, push up on the chip side of the cards inside the SIM tray.

Charging the battery

122 Power your phone on/off To turn your phone on, press and hold the Power/Lock button until the screen turns on. To turn your phone off, press both the Power/Lock button and Volume up button at the same time, then tap Power off on the screen when it appears.
123 Set up your phone for the first time The first time you power on the phone, you’ll be prompted to choose your language, Vision settings, select a network, Date and time zone, log in to your Google Account and setup Google services. Finally, select a screen lock option such as fingerprint, face unlock, or Set a PIN, Pattern or Password. You may also skip this step and complete the setup at a later time. Do not leave your PIN/password or pattern, with your phone. Store this information in a safe place when not in use.
13 Home screen
You can bring all of the items (applications, shortcuts, folders and widgets) you use most frequently to your Home screen for quick access. Tap the Home key to get instant access to the Home screen.

Notification panel When there are notifications, drag down the Status bar to open the Notification panel to read the detailed information. Tap on the notification directly to open the notification within the respective app.
With the Notification panel open, drag down again to see the Quick Settings menu.

133 Search bar
The phone provides a Search function which can be used to locate information within applications, the phone or the web.

Search by text · Touch the Search bar from the Home screen. · Type the text/phrase you want to search for. · Touch the icon on the keyboard if you want to search on the web.
Search by voice · Touch from the Search bar to display a dialog screen. · Speak the word/phrase you want to search for. A list of search results will display for you to
select from.

134 Lock/Unlock your screen To protect your phone and privacy, you can lock the phone screen by creating a variety of patterns, PINs or passwords etc.
To lock the phone screen · If your phone remains inactive for a period of time, it will automatically lock the screen and enter
sleep mode to save power. Go to Settings > Display > Sleep and select a screen timeout period. · You can also manually lock the screen by pressing the Power key once.
To unlock the phone screen Press the Power key once to light up the screen, swipe up and unlock the screen with the method you have set. · Enter a password to unlock the screen Once the screen is turned on, swipe up from any position on the screen to display the password input panel. Then enter your lock screen password. · Use pattern unlock Draw the same pattern you have set to unlock the screen. · Use Face unlock From the app list, touch Settings > Security & biometrics > Face unlock. Before using the face unlock feature, you need to set a pattern/PIN/password Hold your phone 8-20 inches from your face. Position your face in the square shown on the screen. For best results, we suggest that the face key is enrolled indoors and away from direct sunlight.

135 Personalize your Home screen

Add
You can touch and hold a folder, an application or a widget to activate the Move mode and drag the item to any Home screen as you prefer.

Reposition
Touch and hold the item to be repositioned to activate the Move mode, drag the item to the desired position and then release. You can move items both on the Home screen and the favorite tray. Hold the icon on the left or right edge of the screen to drag the item to another Home screen.

Remove
Touch and hold the item to be removed to activate the Move mode, drag the item up to the top of the Remove icon, and release after the item turns red.

Create folders
To improve the organization of items (shortcuts or applications) on the Home screen and the favorite tray, you can add them to a folder by stacking one item on top of another. To rename a folder, open it and touch the folder’s title bar to input the new name.

311 Placing a call You can easily make a call using Phone . Touch Phone from the Home screen.
Touch and hold to access voicemail.

International call

To dial an international call, touch and hold to enter “+”, then enter the international country prefix

followed by the full phone number and finally touch

Emergency call

If your phone has network coverage, dial emergency number and touch

to make an

emergency call. This works even without a SIM card and without typing the PIN code.

312 Answering or rejecting a call

When you receive a call:

· Swipe up to answer.

· Swipe down to reject.

· Touch

to reject the call by sending a preset message.

To mute the ringtone volume of an incoming call, press the Volume up/down key.

313 Calling your voicemail Your voicemail is provided by your network to avoid missing calls. It works like an answering machine that you can consult at any time.
To access your voicemail, touch and hold on the dial pad.
To set your voicemail number, touch the Menu icon from the Phone screen, then touch Settings > Voicemail > Advanced Settings > Setup > Voicemail number.

Enter the desired number from the keyboard directly or select a contact from Favorites, Contacts or Recents, then touch to place the call. The number you entered can be saved to Contacts by touching Create new contact. If you make a mistake, you can delete the incorrect digits by touching .

End the current call. Touch to mute the current call. Touch this icon again to unmute the call. Display the dial pad. Touch to activate the speaker during the current call. Touch this icon again to deactivate the speaker. Make another call. Put a call on hold. Merge calls to start a conference call. Split a conference call into multiple calls. Swap the calls.
To avoid accidental operation of the touchscreen during a call, the screen will be locked automatically when you put the cellphone close to your ear; and it will be unlocked when the cellphone is taken away from your ear.

315 Managing multiple calls With this phone you can handle multiple calls at the same time.

When you accept two calls, touch the icon to switch between two lines. The current call will be put on hold, and you are able to join the other call.

The default phone number (the number which has priority when making a call or sending a message) will always be displayed under the contact’s name.

Set ringtone for a contact (1) On the contact’s detail screen, touch to set ringtone.
Delete a contact To delete a contact, touch and hold the contacts and then touch to delete select contacts.
The contact you have deleted will also be removed from other applications on the phone or web the next time you synchronize your phone.
324 Communicating with your contacts From the contact list, you can communicate with your contacts by making a call or exchanging messages. Touch a contact to open Quick Contact for Android, then you can touch the number to make a phone call or to send a message.

325 Contacts importing, exporting, and sharing From the Contacts screen, touch Fix & manage, then select Import from file, Export to file or settings. Share a single contact or multiple contacts with others by sending the contact’s vCard to them via Bluetooth, Gmail, etc.

4 Messages

Sending a multimedia message MMS enables you to send video clips, images, photos, animations, slides and sounds to other compatible mobile devices and e-mail addresses. 29

An SMS will be converted to MMS automatically when media files (image, video, audio, slides, etc.) are attached or subject or email addresses are added. · To send a multimedia message, enter the recipient’s phone number in the To bar. · Write the text of the message in the Text message bar. · Touch to choose Gallery, GIFs, Stickers, Files, Location, Contacts or Schedule Send. · Touch to take a photo/video or attach a photo/video you have taken. · When finished, touch to send the multimedia message.
42 Manage messages
When receiving a message, an icon will appear on the status bar as notification. Drag down the status bar to open the Notification panel, touch the new message to open and read it. You can also access the Messaging application and touch the message to open. Messages are displayed in conversational order. To reply to a message, touch the current message to enter message composing screen, enter the text, then touch . Long press an SMS on the message list screen. The following message options are available for selection:
Pin the selected messages. Archive the selected messages. Delete the selected messages. To block calls or texts from the contact. The selected conversation will be removed to “Spam & blocked”.

Camera

Your mobile phone is equipped with a camera and a camcorder for taking photos and shooting videos. Before using the camera or camcorder, please be sure to remove the protective lens cover before use to avoid it affecting your picture quality. To access this function, touch Camera from the Home screen.

Settings

Touch to set more options:

· Photo size: Set the photo MP size and screen ratio. You can quickly change this setting by tapping from Camera screen.

· Video quality: Set the video FPS (frames per second) and screen size ratio.

· Video stabilization (EIS): Activate anti-shake to reduce or eliminate blurry image resulting from camera shake while recording a video.

· Calorie detection(1): Turn on to detect the calorie content of a captured object.

· Smart guideline(1): Tap the switch to turn on/off. This feature provides AI- powered facial detection and composition guides for portrait shots. It only works when using the main camera.

· Intelligent mode recommendation: Tap the switch to activate/deactivate the function of Recommending appropriate modes based on scenarios.

· Dark shot: Turn on to take great pictures in a dark environment.

· Quick snap: Tap to turn on/off. When activated, double press the volume down button to take a picture when screen is off.

· Volume button function: Touch to customize the Volume button to Shutter, Zoom or Volume when using camera.

· Gesture to capture: Touch to turn on/off. Once the palm gesture feature is activated, show your palm to the camera and the device will automatically take a photo or video after few seconds.

· Storage: Touch to choose between phone and microSDTM card storage when an microSDTM card is inserted. The default is phone storage.

· Save location information: Tap the switch to activate/deactivate the function of tagging photos and videos with your location. This option is available when GPS location services and wireless network are enabled and permission is granted.

· Shutter sound: Tap the switch to enable/disable shutter sound when taking a photo or video.

· Watermark: Tap to turn on/off Watermark

· Reset settings: Touch to reset the camera to its factory default settings.

More options are available when you switch to using the front camera:

· Face Beauty: Touch to turn on/off. When activated, touch enhance coloring effects in portraits.

6 Gmail

As Google’s web-based email service, Gmail is configured when you first set up your phone. Gmail on your phone can be automatically synchronized with your Gmail account on the web. Unlike other types of email accounts, each message and its replies in Gmail are grouped in your inbox as a single conversation; all emails are organized by labels instead of folders.

To access Gmail Swipe up on the Home screen, then touch Gmail.

To create and send emails · Touch Compose icon from the Inbox screen. · Enter recipient(s)’s email address in the To field, and if necessary, touch and then add a copy
or a blind copy to the message in the Cc or Bcc field. · Enter the subject and the content of the message. · Touch to add an attachment. · Finally, touch to send.
· If you do not want to send the email out right away, you can touch and Save draft or touch Back button to save a copy. To view the draft, touch display all labels, then select Drafts.
· If you do not want to send or save the email, you can touch Discard to discard. To add a signature to emails, touch the icon from the inbox screen and then touch Settings, choose an account, then touch Mobile signature

To receive and read your emails

When a new email arrives, you will be notified by a ringtone or vibration, and Status bar.

811 5G The first time you turn on your phone with network signal, it will automatically configure your network service: 5G (1).
To activate/deactivate Data roaming When roaming, you can decide to connect/disconnect to a data service. · Swipe up on the Home screen. · Touch Settings > Mobile network. · Select Data roaming to set roaming mode. · When Data roaming is disabled, you can still perform data exchange with a Wi-Fi connection

812 Wi-Fi
Using Wi-Fi, you can connect to the Internet when your phone is within the range of a wireless network. Wi-Fi can be used on your phone even without a SIM card inserted.

To turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a wireless network

· Swipe up on the Home screen, then touch Settings > Wi-Fi.

To activate notification when a new network is detected When Wi-Fi is on and the network notification is activated, the Wi-Fi icon will appear on the status bar whenever the phone detects an available wireless network within range. The following steps activate the notification function when Wi-Fi is on: · Swipe up on the Home screen and touch Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi preferences. · Mark/Unmark the Open network notification checkbox to activate/deactivate this function.
To add a Wi-Fi network When Wi-Fi is on, you may add new Wi-Fi networks according to your preference. · Swipe up on the Home screen and touch Settings

Wi-Fi > Add network. · Enter the name of the network and any required network information. · Touch CONNECT.
You can also scan QR code to join Wi-Fi by touching When successfully connected, your phone will be connected automatically the next time you are within the range of this network.
To forget a Wi-Fi network The following steps prevent automatic connections to networks which you no longer wish to use. · Turn on Wi-Fi, if it’s not already on. · On the Wi-Fi screen, touch the name of the saved network. · Touch Forget in the dialog that opens.

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication technology that you can use to exchange data or connect to other Bluetooth devices for various uses.

Google apps are preinstalled on your phone to improve work efficiency and help you enjoy life. This manual briefly introduces the apps. Play Store
Serves as the official app store for the Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications and games. Applications are either free of charge or at a cost. In the Play Store, search for the app you need, download it and then follow the installation guide to install the app. You can also uninstall, update an app, and manage your downloads.
Chrome
Using the Chrome browser, you can enjoy surfing the Web. Your bookmarks, browsing history, and settings across all devices with the browser installed can be synchronized with your Google Account. To get onto the Web, go to the Home screen and touch the Chrome icon in the Favorites tray.
Maps
Google Maps offers satellite imagery, street maps, 360° panoramic views of streets, real-time traffic conditions, and route planning for traveling by foot, car, or public transportation. By using this application, you can get your own location, search for a place, and get suggested route planning for your trips.

YouTube
YouTube is an online video-sharing application where users can upload, view, and share videos. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos. It supports a streaming function that allows you to start watching videos almost as soon as they begin downloading from the Internet.
Drive
Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service created by Google, which allows users to store files in cloud, share and edit files. Files in Drive are well kept, and you can reach your files from any device by logging in to your Google Account. Files or folders can be shared privately with particular users that have a Google Account.
Google TV
Movies and television shows can be viewed online via Google TV. You can also download movies and TV shows for offline viewing. Some content is only available for rental or purchase.
Photos
Google Photos stores and backs up your photos and videos. It also automatically analyses photos and organizes them into groups, so that you can quickly locate the photo you need.
Assistant
Default mode is the same as launching the Google Assistant by long-pressing on the home button.
Files
Files displays all data stored on the phone, including both external SD card and internal storage, such as applications, media files downloaded from Google Play Store, YouTube or other locations; Videos, pictures or audios you have captured; other data transferred via Bluetooth, USB cable, etc.

11 FOTA Upgrade
Using the FOTA Upgrade tool you can update your phone’s software.
To access System update, please Swipe up on the Home screen, then go to Settings > System > System Update. Touch CHECK FOR UPDATES, and the phone will search for the latest software. The latest software will automatically download when the device is connected to a wireless network. After it is complete, please touch Restart to complete the upgrade. Now your phone will have the latest software version.
You should turn on data connection or connect through Wi-Fi before searching for updates.

Safety precautions for direct sunlight Keep this product away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures. Adjust the volume Turn down the volume before using headphones or other audio devices.
