Product Usage Instructions
- Installation
- Install the Ecowitt app on your mobile phone.
- Ensure that the app has location and Wi-Fi services enabled.
- Initial Setup
- To configure the device, follow these steps:
- Disable the cellular network data service on your mobile phone (if using a mobile phone to run the ecowitt app).
- Tap on the menu at the top left corner of the app.
- Select “Weather Station” from the menu.
- Select “+ Add a new weather station” to initiate the Wi-Fi provisioning process.
- Follow the instructions provided by the app. If you encounter any issues, please contact our customer service department.
- Setup via Embedded Webpage
- If you are unable to configure the device network settings using the mobile app, you can use the following steps:
- Activate configuration mode on the weather station. If you don’t know how to activate it, please refer to the Wi-Fi provisioning section on the app page.
- Use your mobile phone to connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot from your weather station.
- Open your mobile phone browser and enter “192.168.4.1” to open the embedded web page. The default password is empty, so tap “Login” directly.
- On the embedded web page, go to “Local Network” and enter your router’s SSID and Wi-Fi password. Click “Apply” to save the settings.
- Go to “Weather services” and copy the MAC address.
- Return to the Gateway provisioning section on the mobile app and choose “Manually adding.” Enter the device name and paste the MAC address to save.

Generic Gateway/Console/Hub Configuration
- Install the “ecowitt” APP. Make sure you have the app with location and Wi-Fi services enabled.
- Disable the cellular network data service on your mobile phone during the setup process (if you are using a mobile phone to run the ecowitt app).
- Tap “menu” at the top left corner, then go to “weather station,” and select “+add a new weather station” to initiate the Wi-Fi provisioning process.
- Follow the instructions provided by the app, and if you encounter any issues, please contact our customer service department.

- Use your mobile phone to connect to the Wi-Fi hot spot from your weather station.
- Go to your mobile phone browser, and enter 192.168.4.1 to open the embedded web page. (The default password is empty, tap Login directly. )
- Local Network -> Router SSID -> WIFI passw ord -> Apply
- Weather services -> Copy “MAC”
- Return “Gateway provisioning” to choose “Manually adding” on the mobile app. And then enter “Device Name” and paste “MAC” to save.
