Product Usage Instructions

• Step 1: Charging
  Before using the sunglasses for the first time, make sure to fully charge the product. Connect the included charging cable to the sunglasses and a compatible power source. The charging time is approximately 80% in 30 minutes and 100% in 1 hour.

• Step 2: Power On/Off
  To power on the sunglasses, unfold them. To power off the device, fold the glasses closed.

• Step 3: Adjusting Lens Transmittance
  The lens transmittance of the sunglasses can be adjusted according to environmental conditions during use. This ensures comfortable viewing under any lighting situation, improves safety, and prevents visual fatigue.
  Categories of Lens Transmittance:

  • Category 2 : 18% – 43% transmittance
  • Category 3: 8% – 18% transmittance
  • Category 4: 3% – 8% transmittance

• Step 4: Cleaning and Maintenance
  When cleaning the lens, follow these steps:

  • Moisten the lens with water or lens cleaning solution.
  • Using a spectacle cloth, gently wipe the lens dry. Avoid wiping it directly without moistening it first.
  • For best results, use a suede and strong absorbent sunglasses cloth.

• Step 5: Storage
  When not in use, store the sunglasses in the included sunglasses bag to protect them from scratches and dust.

• Can I disassemble or modify the product?
  No, disassembling or modifying the product can cause fire, electronic breakdown, or complete damage to the product. Please avoid doing so.

• Can I soak the sunglasses in liquid?

Product introduction

Multi-level dimming slider
The multi-level dimming slider can easily cope with various intensities of ambient light. When in use, the transmittance of the lens can be cyclically switched by sliding the right temple back and forth. The transmittance of the lens are divided into multiple levels, which is about 20%~63%.

UV Protection
The lens has anti-UV feature, protecting the user’s eyes.

No color shift
The inside color of the lens is grayish-brown, which avoids visual discoloration and improves driving safety. The multi-level dimming slider can easily cope with various intensities of ambient light.

Ultra long battery life
The sunglasses are equipped with a 60mAh lithium polymer battery, which can last for 79 hours on a single charge.

Magnetic charging
Magnetically attaching charger, easy to use, supports 2C fast charging, 30 minutes to 80%, fully charged in under 1 hours. Light turns red when charging, changes to green when fully charged, blinks red when power is low.

Matters needing attention

1. Do not disassemble, repair or modify this product for any reason, otherwise it may cause fire, electronic breakdown or even complete damage to this product.
2. Please do not soak the product directly in liquid or directly contact with chemical reagents. After the sunglasses have been exposed to water, please dry them naturally in a dark environment or use a hair dryer to slowly dry them before returning to room temperature (please avoid high temperatures when using a hair dryer to prevent burns to the sunglasses).
3. When cleaning the lens, do not wipe it directly. The lens should be moistened first, and then wiped dry with a spectacle cloth. Try to use suede and strong absorbent sunglasses cloth to wipe clean gently, being careful not to apply too much force. When wiping, the sunglasses cloth should be wiped in the same direction, not back and forth, nor wiping circularly on the lenses.
4. The temples are made of lightweight synthetic materials with a certain opening range. Do not pull the temples excessively or in the opposite direction, as the temples may break.
5. Do not leave the sunglasses sitting out in the sun for excessively long periods, otherwise they can become deformed or broken.
6. Do not put the magnetic end of the charging cable close to metal objects to prevent the danger of short circuit caused by magnetically attracting metal objects.
7. When not in use for a long period, please put the sunglasses in the included sunglasses bag to keep it safe from stress and drop impact.
8. The embedded LCD film (Liquid Crystal Film) is pressure sensitive. Therefore, avoid unnecessarily deforming or squeezing the lens. This can cause irreversible damage. Black dots or spots in the lens are an indication of such damage.

Important safety information

1. Before using the sunglasses, please read all safety information to ensure correct and safe use.
2. Use of power supplies, chargers or batteries not approved by the manufacturer may cause fire, explosion or other hazards.
3. When used, the minimum transmittance is about 20%, which may affect the safety of driving. If you still wear them while driving, the company will not bear any legal responsibility.
4. Please use accessories approved by this manufacturer and compatible with this model of equipment.
5. Please use and charge the device within temperature range 0°C—35°C (32°F – 95°F), and store the device under -10°C—40°C, (50°F – 104°F). Faults may occur when the temperature is too high or too low.
6. The device uses a non-removable built-in battery, please do not replace the battery yourself to avoid damage to the battery or the device.
7. If the charging is completed, please disconnect the charger from the device and unplug the charger from the power outlet. Do not charge continuously for more than 12 hours.
8. The battery is not allowed to be disassembled, hit, squeezed or thrown into fire. If it is severely expanded, please do not use it.
9. Do not place it in a high temperature environment. Overheating of the battery may cause an explosion.
10. Keep the equipment dry.
11. If the device or any other parts cannot work normally, please do not repair any products by yourself.

Areas of application and restrictions on use

• Do not look directly at the sun with your Wicue sunglasses! Do not use Wicue sunglasses when driving at night or otherwise when driving with reduced visibility.

• The Wicue sunglasses have an impact resistance according to ISO12312-1 . However, they are not unbreakable. Therefore, Wicue sunglasses must not be used as safety goggles, as they do not provide sufficient
  protection against eye injuries.

• Wicue excludes any liability for possible damage caused by improper use. Warranty certificate Sincerely thank you for purchasing this product! In order to better utilize your warranty rights, please keep the purchase invoice and the warranty certificate you received when purchasing this product.

Repair warranty principle

1. In accordance with normal use and without violating the above precautions, hardware failures of this product caused by product quality problems are covered by the repair warranty. Warranty is given during the warranty period. This warranty applies to liquid crystal electronically controlled sunglasses series products. The above series product implements “7-day replacement warranty” and “one-year repair warranty”.
2. Normal use means no damage caused by man-made or force majeure.
3. Replacement conditions: when the direct user finds that the product hardware is faulty within 7 days of purchase (excluding consumables), it can be replaced with the purchase invoice at the place of purchase.
4. Repair warranty: when the function is invalid under normal use during the warranty period, the company is responsible for the free repair warranty, which mainly includes to malfunction of the dimming lens but excludes the hardware case, instructions, packaging, other consumables, postal, and on-site service fees.
5. For products that exceed the warranty period, the company can provide paid repairs for the functional failures under normal use. The company can be responsible for maintenance with charging fees of certain component, accessories, and labor costs.
6. The condition of the replacement is that all the objects in the package are complete, the appearance is not worn or smudged, and the serial number of the product is the same with the outer box’s.
   • Note 1: The change of the product color is not within the scope of product replacement.
   • Note 2: Please carefully check whether the appearance is damaged when purchasing the product. The damage of the product appearance after purchase will not be within the scope of the warranty.
7. Repair warranty: when the function is invalid under normal use during the warranty period, the company is responsible for the free repair warranty.
8. Maintenance: when the function fails under normal use during the maintenance period, the company is responsible for maintenance and charges fees of certain component and accessory costs.
9. The following conditions are not eligible for free warranty service, but repair service is provided with only charging fees of component, accessories, and labor costs.
10. Violation of the above “Matters needing attention”:
11. Damages caused by human factors including uses in abnormal working conditions or not following the instructions, etc.
12. Damage caused by force majeure such as floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning strikes, abnormal voltages, etc.
13. Products beyond the warranty period.
