Wind energy is not limited to large and remote megawatt plants, wind energy also offers enormous potential for decentralized energy supply in urban areas and industries. That is why MOWEA offers its wind energy solutions modularly based on the building block principle, highly efficient, and flexibly scalable. We install our micro wind turbines on house roofs, industrial areas or mobile phone masts, and much more.

MOWEA brings wind power and mobile communications together and helps telecommunication providers and radio tower operators to achieve their climate goals. New mobile technologies are becoming more efficient, but powering radio towers also requires sustainable energy sources. MOWEA helps with its micro wind turbines to make radio masts independent from the grid or environmentally unfriendly diesel generators. We are the first company worldwide to realize the installation of wind turbines on radio masts as an accredited supplier of major suppliers.

We are looking for a Working Student in IT Infrastructure (m/f/d) who

will be part of our MOWEA-Team as soon as possible.

Your tasks

You will be responsible for the following activities: You will gradually work your way into the administration of the Atlassian tools JIRA, Confluence and Service Desk under the supervision of our experienced administrators.

• You will manage servers, install/configure the applications, set up backups and optimize the applications
• You are the contact person for customers and colleagues and coordinate your projects independently
• You will be responsible for the administration, integration and management of the applications in cooperation with the responsible persons (e.g. server administrators, specialist administrators), e.g. this includes
• System testing and deployment
• Installation of Hardware and Software o Ensuring and optimizing the functionality of the applications
• Monitoring of the applications o Support o Planning the procurement of Hardware, Software, Servic
• Organization of data security and data backup measures and implementation of data backups
• You will support users in finding, analyzing, and correcting errors in technical processes in the context of ticket processing
• You will document workflow representations, knowledgebase articles, instructions for problem-solving
• You will maintain master data in the specialized applications
• You will be also responsible for disposition and procurement as well as inventory management What distinguishes you
• Good knowledge of German and English
• You have SQL language skills
• You ideally have knowledge of Linux and Windows including server environment
• You have gained the first experience in scripting and programming
• Raspberry Pi is not a fruit for you
• Ideally, you have already worked as an administrator
• Ideally you have basic experience with Atlassian Tools
• You have a high IT affinity and are interested in the digitalization of business processes
• You are characterized by a self-reliant, careful and methodical way of working as well as a strong customer-oriented mindset
• You are a team player, flexible, have good communication skills and are quick on the uptake
• You have a goal-oriented, analytical and systematized way of thinking and acting
