Important information
This guide provides a quick reference for operating the Covetrus Promax IV
Fluid Warmer.
Please refer to the User Manual for more detailed operations and settings.
Pole Clamp and Carabiner
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

If using on a pole – Lower the Pole clamp on the back of the fluid warmer and tighten securely on the pole. See figure A

If hanging, use the provided carabiner and sling. See figure B
Basic Operation
- Fill the IV line with fluid and remove any air in the line. Open the door and install the IV line. The IV line should be installed towards the end of the line, leaving at least 6 inches of IV line from the patient site. Up to 2 IV lines can be installed in the warmer. (IMPORTANT – DO NOT LEAVE IV LINE IN FLUID WARMER WITH NO FLUID FLOWING)
- Press and hold Power Button for 2 Seconds to Power on (IMPORTANT – DO NOT TURN ON WITH NO FLUID FLOWING IN IV LINE)
- Once turned on, the Fluid Warmer will begin working towards the Set Temp. Adjust temperature by increments of 0.1 or 1

To access the Menu, press the center green Menu/Enter button
