Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Assemble all components in the field.
- Make sure the front pulley and safety strap are located straight and in-line with each other.
- Use the brace band (item 16) only for a 6-5/8″ O.D. mast.
Step-by-Step Usage Instructions
- Attach the SSR-25 to the desired location.
- Secure the pulley sheave (HM6092) to the SSR-25 using the provided screws (HS281).
- Insert the bronze spacer (HM6117) into the pulley sheave.
- Place the nylon spacers (SSR-25-03) on the pulley spacer.
- Attach the safety strap (SSR-25-02) to the SSR-25 using the provided screws (HS5260).
- Attach the small S hooks (HM5007) to both ends of the safety strap.
- If needed, use the hog ring (RC404) to secure the bungy cord (RC405) to the safety strap.
- Make sure the sheave bolt/nut is not fully tightened, it must rotate freely.
- Ensure all components are securely fastened and in proper alignment.
FAQ
- Q: What should I do if the sheave does not rotate freely?
- A: If the sheave does not rotate freely, make sure the nylon nut is not overtightened. The nylon spacers, however, do not need to rotate freely.
- Q: Can I use the brace band for masts with a different outer diameter?
- A: No, the brace band (item 16) is only intended for use with a 6-5/8″ O.D. mast.

NOTES:
- INSTALLER TO FULLY ASSEMBLE COMPONENTS IN THE FIELD.
- DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NYLON NUT. SHEAVE MUST ROTATE FREELY. NYLON SPACERS DO NOT NEED TO ROTATE FREELY.
- THE FRONT PULLEY AND SAFE STRAP MUST BE LOCATED STRAIGHT AND IN-LINE WITH EACH OTHER.
- BRACE BAND (ITEM 16) IS INTENDED FOR 6-5/8″ O.D. MAST ONLY.
